My wife, our 2 boys (15 & 11) and another family went to GCL for a weekend getaway before the kids started school. We figured it would be a nice way for everyone to unwind after all the kids came back from camp. We booked about a month in advance and reserved (2) king 1-bedroom suites with a nice size... More

I stayed at this hotel in August 2014 with my two children. We stayed in a 2 queen room that was clean and classically decorated with a pretty view. The grounds on the property were beautiful. The kids had fun roasting marshmallows, playing night miniature golf, playing ping pong at the outdoor recreation deck. The outdoor pools were lovely --infinity... More

Stayed recently for two nights at the Crystal Springs Golf Resort, at the Grand Cascades Lodge. This is a beautiful rustic, yet modern hotel complex adjacent several nice golf courses, nestled nicely in the Appalachian Mountains. We had a gorgeous one bedroom suite, very well appointed and decorated, with a patio overlooking the golf courses, and the resort was very... More

There are no words to describe our experience at the Grand Cascade Lodge. The scenery all around the hotel is magnificent and the attractions are fun and perfect for those who love outdoor sports. My husband and I came for our 10 yr anniversary. We couldn't have chosen a better place. I have never encountered such courteous staff anywhere (thank... More

Stayed here two nights for a wedding. It was the picture perfect setting and the staff is extremely helpful all throughout. They have two awesome pools. top class golf and fantastic restaurant & bar. the room we stayed in was a studio apartment setting which felt more like a one bedroom with a full kitchen etc with small outdoor space..

Just spent a Sunday and Monday at GSL, with two spectacular days of weather. This is my second time a GSL and this time took my wife for a Bday present. No kids. As the other reviews state and I will agree 100%, the grounds, hotel, rooms, etc. are outstanding. It is the lack of attention to detail that my... More

We stayed at the Grand Cascade Lodge for the weekend of our first wedding anniversary, The lodge is lovely and the staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful however in was on the far side of the hotel and had to walk an insane distance to get to any of the facilities, our room was probably a quarter... More

Let me start by saying that the property truly is beautiful and they really have done a marvelous job with landscaping and venues. The outdoor infinity pool really is beautiful, especially looking out toward the hills. And, the outdoor cooking area really is outstanding. . . .and they grow a lot of herbs and vegetables right there. BUT. . .... More

The resort was very accommodating to our group of 45 people. We all had 1 bedroom suites. Very, very nice. The view from the balcony is spectacular. Our room overlooked the patio and biosphere pool area. Everything was always clean and comfortable. The full kitchen is an added plus but our group didn't need this. The bed was a tempurpedic... Great vacation with my adult nephew and his 2 children ages 9 and 10. The most beautiful hotel room I have ever stayed in and I have traveled most my life. I do wish they had some additional on site activities. The golf course looked beautiful and I was unable to golf due to a foot injury and looking at... More

Dear Patti P, It was our pleasure to have you and your family as our guests, and thank you for writing about your trip. Sorry to read about your foot sidelining you from golf this time around, but next time for sure. Hopefully, you were able to at least enjoy a little mini-golf on our natural turf putting course. I...
