service lacks at the front desk,they are rude,especially the woman managers location to nyc is not that great but managable, shutle every 3 hours is $10 , or nj bus bring you to port authority for $3.50.. george washington bridge is a 45 minute walk but you have to cross the highway more

We stayed at the Double Tree Hotel in Fort Lee NJ for 2 days in April. Dirty sock on the drawer, chewed gum on the television closet. Do we need to say more? Very overpriced for what they offer. We stayed on 2/15-2/16 - my mom, my son and I in a 2 double room on the 12th floor. Please do skip the auto check in machine -- you have to see the front desk anyway to complete the process. We thought the service was excellent at this hotel. If something doesn't work, just let them know and they'll fix it immediately. We couldn't have asked for a cleaner nicer hotel. Very upscale, great accommodations and reasonable.
