Getting to the hotel was tricky...after driving on and off of highways/parkways, we finally got it right. The entrance to the hotel is short coming off of the highway - so be aware. The hotel looks exactly the same as pictured on the website. Our room (308) had a strange "under arm" smell. I asked the cleaning lady for some... more
Stayed for one night as a first time Hyatt customer. Normally, we book our stays at Hilton, Marriott or Westin chains, but since all of those hotels were booked for this particular weekend, we found the Hyatt had availability and its location was ideal to our venue. According to its appearance on hyatt.com, this hotel seemed comparable to a decent... more
I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it would not hesitate in recommending it. It's easy enough to find (once you get your bearings)and lots of free parking outside. The rooms are quite big and mine had 2 double beds and a kinda seperate seating area (a bit of a waste of space as 2 bigger beds would... more
We booked through hotels.com and only paid $78 dollars including taxes! We got room 305. The room had a king bed, 42 inch HDTV, desk, couch, coffee making area, etc. The decoration is pleasant; modern, and chic. Check in and out was smooth since we paid in full prior to arrival. The pillows were very comfortable and there were plenty... more
Me and my 3 friends lived in this hotel in the end of March, and it was our last destination of a 6 day road trip. The only thing was that the hotel was in NJ and the road to downtown NY is quite complicated, if you are there for the first time. The rooms are GREAT, the service is... more
This is a luxury around the Paramus area. The gallery is well designed. The living area is huge compared to some small hotels. The plasma tv was a plus including the wifi, free use of the computer and printer at the business area. Do not expect any views behind the building because it is just a wooden area. The bathroom... more
We just returned from a two night stay at the Hyatt Place Fair Lawn/Paramus. We booked our stay through Hyatt's 800 number - we used Hyatt reward points for our stay. Neither my husband or I have ever stayed at Hyatt's new line of Hyatt Place hotels. We were pleasantly surprised. I would say the Hyatt Place is similar to... more
First, I got this room for $60 via priceline, I always use priceline, makes the business travel more fun. The rooms normally go for north of $150, sometimes approaching $200. There is a nice steak place right next door. So that is real convenient. It is overpriced, but hey, it's good food near the city. Nice place for a beer... more
Great hotel experience! No, it's not the Ritz Carlton, but this hotel was clean, upbeat, the room was spacious, newly decorated, large living area, 42" plasma tv, comfy bed, free wireless access, complementary Starbucks for breakfast and the staff was VERY friendly. I was really impressed with great use of space in the room, they really did a great job... more
