I have to admit that the poor reviews for this hotel baffle me a bit. I booked a five night stay through Expedia and the cost INCLUDING flights was £500....Now, for that price, coupled with some of the rabid reviews on this site, I expected a real dive. The Four Points-Sheraton of EWR was fantastic. After staying at hotels near JFK, I was pleasantly surprised at the friendly reception and housekeeping staff. The hotel was recently renovated and offered a free airport shuttle and internet usage. There was also a 24 hour coffee/snack bar--perfect for jet lagged guests! more

The front desk staff was accomodating, and the hotel lobby was cheery and decorated tastefully for the holidays. The room was clean, cozy and nicely decorated as well. The hotel was quiet and the price was right. more

Given the rather miserable area around Newark Airport, this hotel actually is pretty nice on the inside...but then again one would typically only stay in Elizabeth NJ as a stopover so locale isnt really as important. Beware- finding this place in the twisted tangle of the NJ highway system can be brutal, so get a GPS device on your rental... more
