I stayed with a friend at the Hilton Newark for one night as a layover. She is a regular the Hilton so she did the check-in. We took advantage of the hotel shuttle from the airport but the wait felt much longer than 20 min. between shuttles. Our room was on the 11th floor and it had 2 double beds.... More

Can't believe I had to pay $200 for a standard room. As a Hilton diamond member I travel all the time and my room was worth about $89 or $99. Bubbling paint in the tiny bathroom added to the negative experience. Friendly reception staff and the proximity to airport were the only positives.

we were there for 4 days and everything was great, everything was close by ten to 15 minutes if we needed to shop or just try another restaurant. Try it you will like it. Airport was close and easy to access. thank you for being there.

I had an early flight and redeemed points for a king room. The hotel had an airport shuttle that was every 20 minutes and it was well maintained. There is a cocktail social in the evening that I passed on but still a nice perk. This was a worth my points and the bell hop, Gitty was very personable.

We were much enjoyed staying here after a transatlantic flight, getting to the hotel was very easy with the free shuttle and the room was very large and comfortable. We had a tasty breakfast (not included in the room cost) the next morning which set us up for the day, and it was equally easy getting back to the airport... More

Many issues during my stay. Broken coffee maker, room not made up and broken lamp. Took many phone calls during my stay to get things fixed. All has been sorted out with the local hotel. After a few calls the manager said it was a tears occasion and I agreed because I stayed at that hotel a few times before.

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night in September with 2 friends as this was a gateway hotel when going on a group trek around America. We arrived here after spending 2 nights in Manhattan in a hostel, and it was like heaven! Huge rooms, comfortable 2x double beds, a nice bath shower, we ordered room service which arrived fairly... I stay with Hilton always but this property is outdated but making improvements. If you stay on the Hilton Honors floor the rooms are so much better. Parking is expensive. There's also a night manager on at nights who is very difficult to work with. He has no Customer Service skills. ( African American Guy)

Stayed in this Hilton on a layover and it was OK for a night's sleep. After traveling Internationally, I am always surprised at how little the big hotel chains offer their customers. You do not get free wi-fi, and there is no free breakfast. This seems something that is standard at many hotels overseas, but Hilton doesn't offer these perks... More

Stayed for one night, which staying in Newark is never fun, but this hotel made up for it. I had a small issue with my first room, which was on my side. The hotel quickly moved me to a suite which was fantastic, room service was great and the staff was very accommodating. I would recommend for business travel.
