Had to wait about 20 minutes for my turn to check in. Room had a foul smell and stains on the carpet. No signal from TV and could not get hotel staff to come solve the problem, Heard other guest complain on not having power in their room. Internet was very slow. Carpet in hall ways had numerous stains. Hotel... More

Having shopped around, I do think that this Comfort Inn is the best value in the outer NYC area. It's rooms are clean and the furnishings are decent. Breakfast was standard for the chain: satisfactory without being outstanding. It is in a nice enough area with decent restaurants nearby (though only one within walking distance). The real recommendation here is... More

I did read these reviews before I booked this stay, and I should have went with my instinct.....there were as many bad reviews as there were good ones. The good ones should outweigh! Staff: Most of them didn't even give you eye contact. We asked for extra pillows, and were told "no extra pillows". Called the next morning, and were... More

Very plain Comfort Inn in north Jersey. Parking is abundant and safe. Breakfast was plain but satisfying. Wireless Internet worked well. Room was old and bedding was not up to current Comfort Inn standards.

I stayed at ths hotel this week while on a business trip to New Jersey. Edison was a central location for my trip. Not knowing the area well, I chose the Comfort Inn as it usually is a safe bet.The cost for the night was $67.00 per night so my company's approval was easily granted. Upon my arrival, the front... My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel in late Ocotboer 2011. We booked it the night before we left Boston and got it at a fantastic rate, which included breakfast. I was very impressed with the room size, you could park for free and had some fantastic restaurants on your door step (we had to use a car to... More

We stayed one night and the experience was quite pleasant. It was right next to an Asian grocery store and within walking distance to international restaurants. Prices are modest and the hot breakfast included hot waffles, scrambled eggs and sausage! Due to the presence of smoking rooms near the non-smoking rooms, smell of smoke was present in the hallways. However... More

This hotel was fine and decent for the money - about $75 per night. Decent room, clean, nice bed and adequate TV. Internet is adequate to surf and check emails - I wasn't able to send large files for work, but not a big deal. Blows away the Red Roof Inn and they are roughly the same price - but... More

Working claims from Hurricane Irene. Stayed 5 nights here. I've read some of the other reviews, look.... Everyone wants a cheap room but then complains about the room. Rooms are clean & spacious, hotel has a good breakfast area, customer service was great.
