I've stayed here MANY times when the hotel was the Lexington Inn. This hotel has all new staff members who do not treat their guests with any type of value. I asked for directions and was told to use my GPS. I booked a NONsmoking room and was put in a smoking room. The room was not clean, shower full... More

This Inn is tucked away off the main highway and only one way in so it was a bit tough to find. They are under new management and they just changed the name to 'Express Inn' so it added to the confusion to the location. Our reservation was on hand and the front desk was helpful getting us settled in.... More

Stay was a nightmare: Booked two nights in a non-smoking room. At arrival I got informed that no rooms are available for the 2nd night and I should check out again in the morning. In addition there is only a smoking room available for the first night. Next day the person at the reception didn't know about my case and... More

Not too bad. Overnight for a business trip. Breakfast was good, just what you need. The only reason I can't say more is because the room had a weird stale gross smell. The heat worked great, but the bottom of the curtains above the heater had black mold on them and they were blowing around and that just grossed me... More

The room was fine and the facility mostly fine although hard to find without GPS. The breakfast was awful. Limp soggy hash browns, sausage swimming in fat, eggs that seemed synthetic. They've got to do better.

Low priced, clean and quite rooms, convenient location, close to all the major highways -- I95, I287, GSP -- in central NJ, with a good breakfast make the Lexington an excellent value. You'll find shopping and large chain restaurants within several miles of this property.

The "Inn" is near a very busy highway, but no noise intruded. Its location off rte 1 is extremely convenient to N/S and E/W roads in central New Jersey. Of course, along Rte 1 (or very nearby) is every imaginable retail store, market, and restaurant. The double-bedded room (with four comfy pillows to each bed) was comfortable, with a TV/wardrobe... The hotel is a former Holiday Inn Express, which apparently gave up the name a few years ago, ikely because newer properties opened just up Route 1. The property is aging, but the interior remains clean and servicable for a hotel of this grade. WiFi was excellent and free, and the free breakfast is generous--rather than just fruit/pastries, there is... More

The hotel is neat and clean... and is a good one for people who do not want to spend much.... people travelling on longer business trips, who want to save money can stay here comfortably barring a few things... The hotel only serves breakfast which is pretty good given the size of the hotel, coffee is nice.. but 10 AM... More

My wife and I were there visiting Rutgers University. We really enjoyed this hotel. It was clean. The staff was friendly. They have a real breakfast!!! (Sausage, Eggs, etc.) We felt safe here, and I highly recommend this hotel. You can't go wrong with it. So if you're looking for a hotel in this area, stop looking...you've found a good... More
