When I realized that there are many seasonal campers I wasn't sure how we would be treated. The women at the camp store were so friendly. There were children laughing and playing. The camp sites are not perfectly level but we only needed a slight adjustment. The roads are winding and there are lots of trees. Our site was a... More

I have been to many campgrounds but this one exceeded my expectations. They are welcoming to pets (there are some areas that are off limits to pets), but overall it was a good time. The activities were first rate. We went during Christmas in July and there was a dance with Santa, a hayride with Rudolf and prizes for the... More

Interesting introduction to camping in the USA the camp ground seemed to be winding down for the season and needs a but if a clean up lot of rubbish in the lake. The camp operators don't seem to stay on site at night. Not completely quiet but quiet enough at night. Bathrooms could use a renovation.

This is campground is rated average in my own scale. I stayed here 3 times this year because it is located near NYC and Great Adventure. Sites not that crowded, staff is kind of friendly, neighbors are the best! One time my girl friend locked herself out and she got helped quickly. Another time I was away and storm approaching,... We stayed here for 5 days in August 2014. The bathrooms were dirty, mold on the stall walls, big clumps of hair on the shower mats. I did complain to management but he just said they have been very busy and the girl who cleans was not there. Maybe some of the management should get on their hands and knees... More

Stayed for 4 nights recently and had a great time! Even brought my 6 month old and 2 year old tenting. The sites all looked great except that the majority or all are dirt so it can cause sand to get in everything if you aren't careful. They have a very large pool and a couple playgrounds, basketball, peddle boats,... More

We stayed her for 3 nights to visit Philadelphia (still 70 minutes to get there...). We had a lot of rain. I would say the campground is ok. Many permanent sides it seems. It is not the cleanest side I have seen, the staff has been very nice and helpful. So all in all not bad to stay for a... More

Check in desk was rude and the office was a disaster. Paperwork scattered everywhere. RV site grass had not been mowed, picnic table unusable due to rickety condition, cigarette butts and beer tabs all over site. Road leading to campground needs trees trimmed back so branches don't rub down sides of RV. They have a policy that only 5 adults... More

Our first impression was not a good one. We rented two cabins for two nights. The cabins had clearly not been swept or cleaned in awhile. The bath house was pretty much dirty all weekend. One time toilet paper and blood on toilet seats. The lights outside both cabins didn't work. They came promptly and fixed the lights when I called.... Our main reason for going to this campground is that it was only 2 miles from Six Flags. Less than a 10 minutes drive which was nice when tired after a long day at the park. The campground has a pool, playground, paddle boats, basketball, theme weekends, etc. It is on a lake but you can't swim in the lake.... More
