Definitely spring for a few more bucks or a bit of a drive and stay at a chain like Hampton inn. Soooooo nasty. Mold in the bathrooms shower stall not clean. Used shampoo bottle. Yuck. Room smelled very bad. Very seedy. So no pool as shown in the attached pic.

My girlfriend and I were headed down to Englishtown for a racing experience at the raceway. She booked this hotel very last minute and didn't really check any reviews. After reading all the reviews on this site, I was quite nervous about what we had gotten ourselves into. The pictures are NOT of the Village Inn Motel. So yes, their... More

I lived in the area for 26 years and moved away. The Village Inn has always been the same welfare hotel! I visited a friend in the area and he suggested I stay at the Village Inn. He told me it was under new management and had changed. It has not! The room was dirty and nasty! The people that... More

Let's put it this way: Egg smell every time you turn on water. Waft of eggs drifts thru whole room when u turn on da sink/shower. Pool has no water. Language barrier with office manager. Asked for non smoking and got smoking room.

Booked a room fro an overnight stay for business. When I walked into the office I felt like I had walked into someone's living room in a third world country. The Man who came to the desk barely spoke english. Went to the room to freshen up and immediately notice the stench and when washing up the WATER SMELLS LIKE... More

This place was in a reasonable location and was a good deal since we needed a pet friendly room. No one spoke English. The room was old and dirty. The towels were stained. We couldn't tell if they were clean or dirty. We paid for two nights and left after the first night. At least they had good cable.

First off i think i would have prefer to stay at the Bates Motel. It was the most horrible experience I've ever had. It was funny when i walked in to check in a saw a family sitting around watching TV like they were home only to realize they were the staff. Such a big motel with a staff of... More

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at, PLEASE do not even consider staying a night here. The water smelled horrible, there was hair on the bed, the bed was sitting on the floor with no frame. Microwave was dirty, shower was filthy, everything was just dirty dirty dirty. The phones were broken, soda machine in... More
