First time staying at a La Quinta Inn: very nice hotel in a friendly city! The Front Desk staff was very attentive and accommodating. Our room was large, impeccably clean, with nice toiletries of [orangey aromas], a refrigerator and a coffee maker. The Housekeeping service was great and you can even ask for a change of sheets [whenever] with their... More

I was with a group from Columbus, but we were assigned to various floors throughout this 4-story hotel. Thankfully my son and I was on the 4th floor, away from the very noisy highway and lobby. The "DELUXE" continental breakfast was everything but deluxe! No breakfast meat! No restaurant, just a book of menus from area pizza parlors and Chinese... More

Security is terrible. Smelled like smoke in the room. All the Elevators were broken. The only one that kinda worked would stop on the 2nd floor no matter what and the door open and close on the 2nd floor 3 times before the elevator would move on to any other floor.

I loved this hotel! It was very nice. It looked clean and smelled good. The room made me feel like I was in a really nice apartment! Also, breakfast was great too. The only two suggestions I would make, is that the customers should be allowed to have payment options. Either pay by credit, debit, or cash. Not just one... More

I think La Quinta is a franchise; the quality of the hotel chain varies from places to places and cities to cities. They cannot maintain the standard quality throughout the whole chain. Most of the hotels have issues with bathrooms either water stains on the doors or rusty faucets etc.

La Quinta in Clifton is a declining property, not yet decrepit, but well on its way. The physical plant apparently was once quite nice: large functional rooms, ample lobby, a swimming pool like in a resort (I think it was originally a Ramada Inn), but most things are now stained, worn, scratched, and faded. I was there for six nights,... More

Stayed here Memorial Day weekend to attend my daughter's college graduation at the IZOD center. I have never stayed at a La Quinta before but the location and rate were great. The hotel itself is mediocre. Rooms are spacious but somewhat dated. The breakfast was just ok. Most of the staff was pleasant, especially Jermaine. The biggest problem was the... More

the hotel was located not too far from New york City and had easy access if driving personal car. The suite was big, roomy, and clean. The bed was awesome clean, no bed bugs, and confortable. Will retrun next year with family.

the water in the shower could not be regulated to a comfortable tempurature. Dim lighting, but some of this was fixed quickly. The water on our last morning was brown, and no one called to let us know there had been a main break in the city. It was truly gross. The rooms could use some updating. The front desk... More

This hotel has an extremely complicated floor plan and that is basically the top floors are different from the bottom floor and so they don't connect. I got totally lost. I went out this door which is what I thought was the backdoor but it was to a fenced yard. When the door shut, I cannot open it even with... More
