We have been going to Big Timber Lake for 5 years and out of all the campgrounds we have been to this is by far THE BEST! Extremely clean, family oriented, activities are well planned and top notch, and fees are very reasonable. We LOVE this place and would never seek another site to visit. HIGHLY recommend!

My husband and I stayed here with our two small dogs in our new travel trailer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a pull-through site, which was dirt/gravel and not entirely level, but I felt it was a decent size. It had a nice picnic table and fire ring. One of the things I really loved about... More

Good family fun. I highly recommend to anyone with family. Clean Bathrooms, friendly staff... We rented a trailer for a week. It was clean and well equiped. I understand that they will replace the carpet with hardwood floors which will be more appropriate. When planning your day at the beach, don't hesitate to get your Avalon Beach tags from the... More

We had a wonderful time here! Everything is very clean and the people are very nice! If you like to photograph nature there is a lot to capture! Butterflies, fish, turtles and frogs... I found two minor setbacks. First is that there are no lounge or regular chairs in the pool area. There are no tables either. We camped with... More

I've read the reviews on tripadvisor before we left so I watched out for those items. I never saw any of them. This campground is wonderful - clean - well maintained - the security is so good (especially at the front gate) that my husband accidently left his wallet out all night at our campsite on a table by the... My family and I have spent vacations in many campgrounds locally and around the country. Big Timber Lake is absolutely the best run and by far the cleanest campground at which we have ever stayed. The restrooms are cleaned twice a day and the maintenance staff appears to be on-site and on-call 24x7, so if there is an issue, they... More

Spent memorial weekend here in 2013. Have to say the campground is very clean and well kept. People are nice and the kids are always busy. Very easy to get to the shore and enjoy a night on the boardwalk. Fishing, swimming and fun for all ages. I hope to go back next year.

I don't know what was worse the attitude or the flies!!! Every year our family has a trip to campground and this one was the worst by far. It started at the gate when we pulled up the old man who stops you to check in was very rude and made our party of about 40 stay in our cars... More

Big Timber Lake prides itself on being a great place for families, and most of the credit for that goes to the wonderful families that stay here and keep coming back. Unfortunately, this very large family was not able to respect our policy on quiet hours, which are in place from 11pm until 8am and are enforced. We received numerous... More

This campground is in a good location to explore Cape May but because of the tight turns and overhanging trees this would be a difficult park for new big rig drivers. The entry way into the park is narrow with a brick pillar on each side so swing wide with your big rig when going in. Our 40ft Class A... More

Spent 4 nights here ..plenty of activities for everyone. Located near lots of attractions.. don't miss the free Cape May County Zoo. The pool was crowded most days because of the heat but we had the option and took it to utilize the small lake with the fish bumping our legs. The kids were having fun trying to catch the... More
