As always wonderful, yet every time in stay here I am surprised again by the ambiance, the friendly and helpful staff, the luxurious feel, and I will continue to return! Even though I am here for work and most everyone else is here for a romantic getaway- I still feel comfortable here- like I'm pampering myself

Stayed at the virginia several times. Everything is always wonderful. The staff, the food and drink, the rooms, the experience. The rooms are beautiful, and each time I visited they have been immaculately clean. Great location. An unforgettable getaway.

My husband and I had booked a winter special for Valentine's day weekend, which included champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and a discount for dinner. The weekend was extremely romantic--including breakfast in bed. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The location is perfect--close to the center of Cape May. The fireplace in the lobby was great for drinks before dinner.... More

Stayed here for one night recently. The room was of a good size and was very clean, and had a lovely charm to it. The hotel is within walking distance of most things in Cape May. The only downside to this hotel in our opinion was the reception staff, who were not very welcoming or friendly.

This hotel was very disappointing in several areas, i.e. the cleanliness of the room; the condition of the room; and the service in the Ebbitt Room. I'm not sure if it was becasue it was the end of the season but it was very surprising experience considering the reputation of the hotel. The Front Desk staff were professional and accommodating... Just spent two nights at The Virginia hotel as our normal favorite bed and breakfast was closed on the days we wanted to stay. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. We really appreciated the off season rates-very affordable! The front desk was friendly and efficient, the rooms were extremely clean, comfortable beds, nice quality amenities in the bath.... More

Stayed during MLK weekend in room 208. The staff at the hotel could not have more professional and friendly. My problem was with the room, which I'm sure was specific to room 208. The stairway to the 3rd floor is next to one wall of the room, while an ice maker was on the other end. noise most of the... More

This is the most charming hotel I have ever experienced. From the moment you walk in through the welcoming red doors, you will feel the comfortable yet elegant ambiance of this lovely hotel. The warm weather months are great to enjoy the front porch, and a warm fire greets you in the colder months. The location is awesome, walking distance... More
