I have been to Cape May numerous times but have never actually stayed in Cape May because of the very pricey rooms. However, I came here for a retreat and had a great deal, deals here are easy to come by off season. The hotel is stately and grande, even regal. Very Victorian, I was comfortable the entire stay. I... More

Stayed at hotel for weekend wedding. Loved the room. King end room facing town. It was a very nice pleasant room. Comfortable bed. Clean bathroom lots of towels. Only problem with entire hotel is the heat. Every room was hot. A lot of history in this place. Had drinks in Brown room and ate meals in The Blue Pig that... More

Congress Hall Hotel is rightly proud of its long and distinguished history, and it's fun to take a tour of the building and grounds with a young woman who "plays" one of the hotel's historic personages. That said, a renovation about 10 years ago has brought the hotel up to date, and makes it a comfortable place to stay that... More

What a beautiful old hotel. The entire hotel is so nicely decorated with antiques and interesting pieces. Our oceanfront room was two heavenly queen beds with old pictures and furniture. The bathroom is even beautiful! Newly renovated in subway tiles and huge! The Brown Room right downstairs is a great place for cocktails. The Blue Pig has delish food. They... More

i stayed at Congress Hall the last week of August (2014) with my extended family We had reserved 4 rooms for the entire family- for a family birthday celebration. We had 2 ocean front rooms, one street facing room, which was fine and one room in the annex. From the time that we checked in, until check out- our room... More

I've reviewed this one-of-a-kind destination (highly favorably) in the past. Have stayed more than a few times. All I can say is, don't even think about staying anywhere else in south Jersey if you want luxury, comfort and style in the off season. Let me briefly explain. I had a (more expensive) hotels.com reservation in Avalon for a quick trip... More

We stopped here early on New Year's Eve and walked around the outside display. It was situated in the front lawn of congress hall surrounded by outdoor heaters and even a fire pit. They call it Winter Wonderland. Crafts, food and characters dressed up for the kids, entertained young and old alike. The lobby had plenty of people standing about... More

The modern Congress Hall has all of the modern required amenities and all of the relaxation of a slower and older time. It is right on the beach and next door to plenty of fine dining and shopping. And it as an excellent restaurant, spa and shops right inside. We were there for the Christmas holidays and they had the... More

Upon moving to the Philly area my husband and I fell in LOVE with Cape May. I had the opportunity to stay within all the properties (except Sand Piper) of Cape Resorts Group and Congress Hall is the home with it all! My absolute favorite times to visit isn't just in the summer. It's to see their holiday and Easter... More

We went to Congress Hall on 1/1/15 and stayed 1 night. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We ate at the Blue Pig on the premises and that was delicious. I did wish the restaurant opened before 5pm as we had so much we wanted to see in the area. Then we took a trolley tour. It was a very... More
