In the off season you can get a room for 99.00 to 129.00 if you get a deal. The hotel is worth this price. It is very clean. The floors in some of the rooms are very slanted think fun house. I felt dizzy on my second stay there due to the slant in the floors. Room 307 seems to... More

Called directly to make and pay for a reservation a month in advance because of a cousin's wedding. Couldn't stay at the main hotel because they have a two-night minimum (wondering why that is because it's long out of the summer/shoulder season). They put me in a room at one of their adjoining properties which was right across the street.... More

Very cool hotel. Room is a little drafty (windy outside), but good heat... Room is spacious and the bathroom? See for yourself. This would be great for Romantic getaway. Downtown is quaint with plenty of dining and shopping, even in the off-season. This is a great find!

I'll start with the positives: It's a beautiful hotel--a beautiful old building wonderfully decorated. The room was small but very attractive, and we had a great ocean view. However: I absolutely would not recommend Congress Hall if restful quiet is important to you. We stayed Saturday and Sunday night. Saturday night, there was live music in the Brown Room at... More

Went away for a girls get away weekend and stayed here. Our rooms (2 Queen Beds) and bathrooms were very large and beautifully restored. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bedding high quality. It's in a perfect location, walking distance to everything. The staff was very friendly.

I cannot even know how to start since I am "SO UPSET". [The pro's] If you are looking for "OLD" history, and rooms, then this is the place for you. Plenty of hot water for showers. Self parking behind the hotel(state this when you pull up.) [The con's:] Overpriced for what you get. Our room, Ocean View, was under their... More

Really Great location and lovely public spaces and nice room amenities. We thought we got a great deal on a "value room," but it was a tiny room and not one of their regular rooms. Cramped for two. Bathroom floor had a very distinct slant. Not enough plug ins for electronics. They did offer free wifi in rooms.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel room was quite nice. Location is outstanding, sitting smack between the Washington St. pedestrian mall and the beach. The hotel's common spaces are super-attractive and comfortable, and we especially liked the small, upscale shops on the ground floor. The Blue Pig restaurant is very good and has a nice interior. The bar... More

It is not a five stars hotel, but it is probably the best in Cape May. I highly recommend it for a romantic stay. You will fell like living in the past. The service and staff is very pleasant. Very well situated near the town center and right on the beach.

I spent the weekend in Cape May with my wife. We stayed at the Congress Hall. This place blew me away. Beautiful building, very historic, in town, on the beach. The staff is outstanding, the service impeccable. We ate at their Blue Pig restaurant, again more than I expected. If your in Cape May and need a hotel this place... More
