It had been three years since our last visit to the Cape May and the Saltwood House. We weren't disappointed. The food, the lovely rooms filled with antiques and the friendly atmosphere were just as we remembered. Don and Eric do an excellent job in providing hospitality and service. We are planning to return next year. more

We loved the Saltwood House! It's just steps away from the ocean, the innkeeper made us feel at home, the room was spacious, quiet, & very clean, and the breakfast was TERRIFIC! We WILL return--but next time we're coming to PLAY in Cape May! more

We have just returned from Cape May, NJ as we celebrated our wedding anniversary. We have stayed at many B&B's in the past. This time we stayed at The Saltwood on Jackson Street. What a wonderful experience! Immaculate, Warm and Beautifully decorated with wonderful antiques. Inn keepers Don and Erik are the BEST! They are warm and accommodating hosts that... more

Our 3rd wedding anniversary was quite a wonderful experience in part due to our accomodations at the Saltwood. Breakfast every morning was to die for. Great location & had on site parking which was unusual for Jackson Street. Don & EriK made us feel very comfortable & welcome. Highly recommend. Loved it!! more

This was our first visit to Cape May and our first stay at Saltwood House. When we arrived we were graciously greeted by our host, Don, who immediately took us to the parking area right on the property and for a short tour around this lovely Victorian home. We stayed in the Newport Suite, which is done in a lace... more

My husband and I just visited the Saltwood Inn on a whim and felt that our stay could not have been better. This beautiful B & B is located in the center of Cape May's beautiful Victorian home district and the beach was only a bit over a block away. We loved the location. We were comfortable the minute we... more

From the moment Eric came out to greet us in the driveway, we knew we'd have a great time here. Our room was cozy, yet comfortable and well-appointed. We had a bay window overlooking one of the loveliest streets in Cape May with a great view of other vintage Victorians in this town known for them. The highlight of our... more
