This had to be one of the best B&Bs that we have every visited. The decor was authenic victorian. The rooms were spotless and baths had been updated. The breakfasts were delicious and served on attractive china. We will definitely stay there again when we visit Cape May. C.P., Rocky Mount, NC more

In a competitive neighborhood with the entire street lined with B&B, Seawood stood out. The breakfast was creative, the first day we had seawood toast that was the best I've had in life. The second morning we had scrambled egg with cheese topped with tasty salsa, plus a warm peach dish that we thoroughly enjoyed. The room was clean and... more

Recently stayed 3 nights at this lovely Victorian home. The owner is always helpful in area attractions and restaurants. The accomodations were spotless and the furniture was antiques and in beautiful condition. I understand he once was an antique dealer. Close to the ocean for a lovely shoreline stroll. Loved it! more

B&B is intimate with only four rooms. Quiet. Room was spacious with very comfortable queen bed and furnished with antiques. Immaculately clean. Personalized service with incredibly tasty breakfast. Located in heart of historic district only a half block to prime beach. Walk to everything, although B&B has off street parking. more

My husband and I booked a long weekend getaway for our anniversary @ the Saltwood House. It was great! We've stayed in other B&Bs, but this one stood out as excellent for a number of reasons: 1) location was awesome, and they had offstreet parking which is rare in that section of town; 2) it was so clean, Erik does... more

My husband & I found Saltwood House on trip advisor but decided to check it out once we got to Cape May. Never having visited the area we didn't know what to expect. What a lovely city with beautiful Victorian homes... and the beach only a block away. Don, the owner of Saltwood, was so accommodating & gracious...his home is... more

We recently spent two nights at the Saltwood House and found the actuality of the experience to match the great reviews found here. Our room (the Hampton) was large as was the bathroom, which, while it was across the hall, was private to us. The Saltwood is located on quiet Jackson Street, halfway between the beach and the main shopping... more

My husband and I made our first trip to Cape May in August. With never being there before together I talked to a friend about where to stay. We were told to stay at the Saltwood House - it was their favorite bed and breakfast. I called and there was availability for when we were going so I booked our... more
