We spent a long weekend in Cape May at our favorite B&B, the Mooring. This is my favorite summer place ever! The inn is immaculate, well maintained, comfy rooms individually decorated with very friendly hosts, Leslie and Vince! They will go out of their way to make your day!!! There are gorgeous, bucolic gardens and a wide open front porch.... More

The extremely helpful (without being overbearing) hosts are the best thing about The Mooring. Once Vince knew what we were interested in, he suggested the best options. The building is very comfortable and interesting features surprise at every turn. It couldn't be better located - one block from the beach, so the noise level is low but you can walk... More

Just returned from a 5 lovely days at The Mooring. The B&B is a well run establishment that seems to take pride in guest comfort and satisfaction. Beginning with the bountiful breakfast conveniently served between the hours of 8:30am until 10:00am. The dining area consists of tables for two which allows conversation but doesn't require it. Homemade baked goods, fresh... More

The B & B was terrific! We had such a wonderful time. We stayed in room 6 that included parking. The king size bed was wonderful and the room was spacious. Vince greeted us each day with wonderful breakfast choices which were delicious! We will definitely be back!!!

This was our third visit to the Mooring, and we were not disappointed. The B&B is a well appointed Victorian house. Great care and love have gone into this place, you will start to relax the minute you enter the front door! The rooms are lovely and each one is a little different in decor, ours had a kind of... We stayed in room 2 for three nights in July. A great room in a beautiful Victorian building and so close to the beach. The breakfast and afternoon snacks were the stars of the show for us (My favorite were the sausage balls, yum!). Make sure to purchase Vince and Leslie’s cookbook if you like the food.

My husband and I wanted a relaxing, beach-side vacation, and the Mooring B&B in Cape May offered all of that! Upon arrival, Leslie greeted us, showed us around the beautiful Victorian-style home, and then Vince (a Cape May native) offered us some suggestions on places to eat (Pier House, Mario's Pizza and Oyster Bay were some of his top picks).... My wife and I took a rare, early season 3 day trip to Cape May, NJ over the Memorial Day weekend. Normally we go to Cape May in the fall but I felt we both needed to get away for a few days. I was a little hesitant about going over the holiday weekend what with the traffic on the... More

The breakfast blew me away. It's like the best brunch on a Sunday you've ever had, minus the 45 minute wait! Oh yeah, and it's also a meticulously clean, beautifully decorated, calm B&B one block to the beach. With parking. But did I mention how great the food was? Go there.

Owning a successful bed and breakfast is a labor of love. From our 4 night stay at the Mooring (room 16) it was obvious how much Leslie and Vince loved creating a fantastic experience for their guests. The room was serene and perfectly thought out. We loved reading at the window seat and coming back from bike rides to homemade... More
