We booked a 7 night stay because we could not find a hotel in the time frame we wanted. It was a lucky break!! I loved the place. The breakfast on the porch was so well prepared and served.I know it is a Victorian home, but it was modern enough to be very pleasant and Victorian enough to capture my imagination.... More

My first visit to Cape May was amazing in thanks to Leith Hall. My boyfriend and I stayed in the Celebrity Room on the 3rd floor and although the stairs were a tad steep we did not mind the climb. The room was decorated with celebrity photos from the 1880's and was furnished with historical memorabilia. It was honestly just... More

We've been coming to Leith Hall for a number of years now. Last year I wrote my first review. A couple of pluses since then. First, our host is a super cook and he served, what was for me, a new tea cake. Chocolate with a white drizzle and a peppermint flavor. It mixed very well with the chocolate. Oh,... More

Cape May was the first beach resort in the USA and is my favorite beach town on the planet - and I've been around. I could not imagine a better place to stay in the greatest of beach towns than Leith Hall. We've been coming yearly for over a decade now and always stay at Leith Hall. Proprieters Elan and... More

Enjoying a stay in the Audubon suite of this lovely Victorian age bed and breakfast. The suite is filled with period antique furniture and decor and is very comfortable. It is air conditioned for comfort but one feels like one has gone back in time and can enjoy the romantic beach atmosphere of this inn and its wrap around porch.... More

Pros: location is great! Center of everything Cons:Horrible and unhealthy daily breakfast with no options and cheap. We stayed Friday till Sunday. After we checked out on Sunday morning and still had a full day ahead, they refuse to give us towels and chairs for 2hrs because we checked out. Never heard this in my life! It is always curtesy... Leith Hall B & B was an awesome experience for my wife and I. From the friendly greeting and introduction to the home, to the closing greeting from Elan on the front porch at our departure, the stay was positively memorable. The location a half block from the beach with a view of it from our room, the Maple suite... More

This B&B is one block from the main beach at Cape May - literally a few minutes and you're on the beach. We stayed in the ground floor Audubon Suite. It was comfortable and clean with period-correct Victorian furniture and easy to use modern flat-screen and DVD. There was a small fridge in the room which is handy & there's... More

I loved that the house was all done in period decor including the furniture in my bedroom. Elan and Susan were wonderful hosts. The breakfast was delicious and I loved the afternoon tea and the time to get to talk with the other guests.
