The Inn at the Ocean and the Merry Widow are both owned by Victoria Clayton. She owns other rentals too so run like the wind if you should call or email a place in Cape May and get her. My horrible experience with staying at her establishment was like none I have had in my nearly 50 years of life.... more

My sister and I stayed at the inn In Sept '03 and were impressed by the cleanliness. The Inn is lacking warmth, and ambience but we go for the relaxation and privacy so that was OK with us. The days before Christmas at Cape May...lighted mansions, crisp air, pretty Christmas decorations. I expected the Inn to be decorated inside like a Winter Wonderland.
