This was our second visit to Cape May, and we chose to stay at the same place we stayed at the first time - the Humphrey Hughes House. We are so glad we did - we love this place and all it has to offer. The house itself is just beautiful, our room (the Brass Room) is comfortable, spacious, bright... More

The property's architecture is fabulous and true to the era. The property's location is close to the beach and all of the local restaurants and shops. We found everyone, both the workers of the HHH, other guests, and Terry and Lorraine were very friendly and accommodative to our needs. My wife and I stayed in the Rose Room and we... More

We had a great weekend at the inn. The breakfast was delicious every day and the location was near everything we needed to get to. We stayed in La Petite, which was perfect. If we are ever back in Cape May we will definitely return to the Humphrey Hughes. Thanks for a great stay!

Back for another year with Terry & Lorraine at the HHH. We really enjoy of Columbus Day weekend trip. Although it marks the end of the season for HHH and the warmer months, it's something we look forward to from the end of August on. The hospitality is family like. We've been going for 5 yrs now, but it feels... More

Cape May is one of our favorite places in September. We love it there and love the HHH. The inn keepers are wonderful and the staff is excellent especially Pat who we see every year and love that she is still there. The house is clean and the breakfast amazing thanks to Lorraine the innkeeper that does her own cooking.... More

This was my first visit to Cape May and staying at a Bed and Breakfast. I was celebrating my 50th birthday and I had a wonderful time. Choosing HHH for my first Bed and Breakfast was an excellent plan. It was relaxing and home feeling. I actually felt like I was on my own priviate cruise ship staying in the... More

This B&B was charming. Breakfast on the porch was excellent--each plate of food was a work of art. Proprietors and staff were friendly and helpful. Great location--an easy walk to all the attractions. Not beach weather while we were there, but close to beach also. We stayed in the "Le Petite" room (only room available) and it was very tiny.... My husband and I spent three nights at the Humphrey Hughes House in early August. It was a wonderful bed & breakfast inn. The HHH is impeccably clean and is located in a very central and convenient location, close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We stayed in the Dragonfly Room, full of charm and many amenities. The breakfasts, served... More

This was our first trip to Cape May, so we didn't know what to expect. However, our expectations for HHH were very high based on the reviews we read. I am pleased to say that the reviews were very accurate and the HHH deserves 5 stars and the praise given in the various reviews. Let's start with location. HHH is... More

My husband and I stayed at the Humphrey Hughes House for four nights in early August. It is such a lovely place! We stayed in Grandma's nook on the third floor and found the room to be charming, filled with antiques and a very comfortable king sized bed. Breakfast was served every morning at 9:00 am on the front porch... More
