The Gingerbread house was a great bread and breakfast ! Cleaner than most hotels I ever stayed in !! Owners are nice and very accommodating. Beautiful Victorian home and charming owners. The Gingerbread is very convenientally located near the center of town and only a half block from the beach. I would definitely stay here again and recommen it to others.

We stayed here for two evenings. The location is great, close to the information center and the Cape May trolley and tourist activities. The house and furnishings are beautiful. The innkeepers are very nice. It was fun sitting in the parlor and dining room in the evenings and mornings and talking to the other guests about all of our experiences.... More

This was my first trip to Cape May, and I wanted to stay in a Vjctorian home with lots of charm and ambiance. I found it in the Gingerbread House! Fred and Joan were personably and inviting, and I felt very welcomed and "at home" here. They helped make it a memorable weekend!

We were originally booked at the Doctors Inn in Cape May Court House. 205 miles behind us, on or way to New Jersey, we were called by Doctors Inn and were told their B & B had a 2" pipe burst on the third floor and could not accommodate us. They suggested a few B & B including this property.... More

This was our first experience with Cape May, it's restaurants and lodging (first B&B experience as well). I know a large part of our enjoyment was due to Fred and Joan as they were warm, friendly, personable, welcoming, and incredibly helpful about the local resources. Joan makes wonderful fresh baked items every day...yummy! We stayed on the second floor suite... More

Great accommodations. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Joan was a wonderful hostess. We always enjoy our times in Cape May, but the Gingerbread House added to that enjoyment. The house's proximity to the beach was a pleasant bonus.
