Terry and her team provided wonderful accommodations, assistance, food, and service for our wedding weekend at the Chalfonte. Terry took the time to meet with us and for addressing our questions and concerns. As a hotel, we experienced fantastic front desk support and friendly staff up and down. As a reception venue, we could not have asked for a better... More

We loved the Chalfonte. It's an old, historic property with plenty of charm, interesting furnishings in public areas -- and some quirks that go with age so might not work for travelers who prefer modern amenities and luxury. We had one of the more recently renovated rooms; it had a queen bed and a single bed with bathroom (sink in... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel the night before our sunrise elopement at Poverty Beach in Cape May. I have always wanted to stay here as it is one of the most beautiful hotels in Cape May, and believe me there are quite a few! Great decor, beautiful room, quiet and private and we had access to our own... More

We enjoyed our stay with the help of not only a beautiful old hotel, but the staff that made it perfect. The front desk people we very helpful, friendly and professional. They actually helped our family by moving us all to their Southern Quarters, and giving us the front porch room. Our grandson would hang around with us old folks... More

I stayed one night at the Chalfonte with my husband. The hotel is very quaint and it was fun to stay in an old-fashioned hotel. Our room was #44 on the second floor almost right at the top of the stairs next to the lobby. The room was adorable and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well and the... More

I recently stayed at The Chalfonte for 3 nights to attend a wedding. We stayed in the Southern House on the third floor. This hotel is very quaint! A quite place two blocks from the beach. They did a fabulous job on the wedding reception I attended. The rocking chairs all around the porch was the perfect touch. We would... More

A very nice and quite four day stay. Unfortunately we went before the restaurant opened. The weather was cold and rainy, but we made the best and had a really great time. Great food and nice shops. We would recommend this place, and looking forward to visiting again.

Stayed there for a wedding the week after Memorial Day. Overall, it was a very nice, cool old hotel. Realizing this is a historic hotel, you really can't make major, structural changes to the hotel itself, understandably. Lots of charm to this place. Walking distance for the beach and the center of town. Cute horse and carriage rides passed around... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a wedding, it was a beautiful wedding. The hotel was like stepping back in time. It was so neat to stay at a place like this. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. Its within walking distance to the beach and shops. In all we were very happy with our... More

Terry, Nancy, Dillon, Pauli and the gang, I cant tell you how much I appreciated the fantastic Wedding reception and the stay for all my guests at your hotel. It was magnificent and the food was exceptional. Matt and I are so grateful that we found this hidden gem 8 years ago thanks to Nancy. We feel like family and... More
