My husband and I have stayed at "the Angel" twice now with another couple, both times during peak summer season. Our last trip this past July was a little bit disappointing, however. My thoughts can be summed up in three categories . . . First, the good: The inn has a wonderful location and is within easy walking distance to... More

Last week we returned to the angel for our semi annual 7 night stay and we loved every moment of our stay. Every stay we stay in a different room and last week we stayed in room 18 which was wonderful. the complementary afternoon tea and the wine and cheese at the end of the day sets the mood for... Victorian decorated rooms. Pleasant place to stay. Beach is right across the street. Their food is good. Price was reasonable. Would definitely stay here again but not on the first floor. We stayed in room 1 and it was near the dining area and just too noisy. We heard the clanking of the dishes as they prepared for breakfast. THey... More

The two main reasons people stay at a B&B are the personal touch of the InnKeeper and the breakfast. I found both of these leaving much to be desired. The person(s) at the desk (assuming they were Inn Keeper) were either aloof or absent. It is difficult for me to condense our experience at breakfast but suffice it to say... More

This is a beautiful, charming victorian bed and breakfast. The furnishings and decor were perfectly done. There are two almost identical houses which have 27 bedrooms, of varying sizes. There are rooms with fireplaces, rooms with tubs only and rooms with showers only or the combination of all. All rooms are very well described and it is not an easy... More

Delightful place in Cape May. A bit out of town, but well worth the drive. They also have bikes you can use. A quarter block from beach. Highly recommended. Not a 5-star place but a good solid 4. The negative TA review we read before going mystified us. The place is old-fashioned, yes. But that's it's charm. They were even... More

We spent two relaxing days in late October. The weather was warm and we could enjoy the beach. Loved our room with a private deck and again to relax. Enjoyed the company of the other guests and very nice snacks

My husband and I were looking for a nice bed and breakfast for our 2 night anniversary trip. I've stayed at 2 other B&B's in Cape May so definitely had something to compare it to. I wanted a fireplace, an ocean view and a jacuzzi tub. I had to compromise on the tub, but was still looking forward to a... More

We have always stayed at motels, hotels when visiting an area. Typically, all the necessary amenities are included and you will often find a pool. But, this time we decided to give a B&B a try. We have seen Angel of Sea while visiting Cape May in the past and it looked very nice. The Angel is actually two buildings... More
