Overall had a pleasant stay. Served refreshments at 4 and wine and cheese, etc at 5:30 which was nice because we had late dinner planned for Evening. Breakfast was pretty good. Plenty of fruit and choice of Stuffed French Toast or Eggs Benedict. Room #10 was small but nice and bathroom basically had no heat so had to put space... More

A lovely place with exceptional staff. The room seemed a bit run down and very small. I've stayed at quite a few b&bs and for one so highly rated as this one, I had a different expectation of the accommodations. Beautifully decorated for the holidays and again, the staff was helpful and friendly.

Frankly, this was not our first choice but we are thrilled that the B&B we originally chose was booked and we ended up at the Angel of the Sea! The place is spotless and well run. Service could not be any more friendly or efficient. Couple of notes - Be sure to partake of the afternoon tea - wonderful baked... More

Exceptional Victorian B & B located directly across from the ocean. We stayed in the honeymoon suite room #128 located in building 2, third floor. There is a large balcony off this floor, which looks out in 3 directions with a wonderful view of the ocean. We arrived in July on a weekend and still had the balcony off the... More

I got an email with the opportunity to stay the weekend before Christmas for a great rate. When arriving my husband and wre greeted promptly at the check in area. The clerk was friendly and enthusiastic and explained everything about our stay. She led us to our room #16 in the second building. We were charmed by the Victorian decor... More

My husband and I have stayed at "the Angel" twice now with another couple, both times during peak summer season. Our last trip this past July was a little bit disappointing, however. My thoughts can be summed up in three categories . . . First, the good: The inn has a wonderful location and is within easy walking distance to... More

Last week we returned to the angel for our semi annual 7 night stay and we loved every moment of our stay. Every stay we stay in a different room and last week we stayed in room 18 which was wonderful. the complementary afternoon tea and the wine and cheese at the end of the day sets the mood for... Victorian decorated rooms. Pleasant place to stay. Beach is right across the street. Their food is good. Price was reasonable. Would definitely stay here again but not on the first floor. We stayed in room 1 and it was near the dining area and just too noisy. We heard the clanking of the dishes as they prepared for breakfast. THey... More

The two main reasons people stay at a B&B are the personal touch of the InnKeeper and the breakfast. I found both of these leaving much to be desired. The person(s) at the desk (assuming they were Inn Keeper) were either aloof or absent. It is difficult for me to condense our experience at breakfast but suffice it to say... More

This is a beautiful, charming victorian bed and breakfast. The furnishings and decor were perfectly done. There are two almost identical houses which have 27 bedrooms, of varying sizes. There are rooms with fireplaces, rooms with tubs only and rooms with showers only or the combination of all. All rooms are very well described and it is not an easy... More
