When we arrived, we were just shown to our room. No one showed us around to see where the porch or sitting room was located (or that there even was one) or tell us about the show/restaurant until we asked. And even then, we got "there's the dinner theater or the Haunted Mansion restaurant". It was like pulling teeth to... more
We didn't stay in the rooms but we did go there for a tour and dinner. They said they have live entertainment it was teenage kids who were screaming nonsense the whole time and it was not funny at all. The place inside looked spooky which was pretty cool but the food was gross and then on top of that... more
My husband and I stayed in room #4 at elaines and loved our stay. The room was goregous and there was much attention to detail. Antiques were all around, beautiful dressing table. The sun room off the main room was a pleasure to sit in and read or enjoy a cup of coffee. Breakfast was available on the wrap around... more
We stayed at Elaines in July. Pictures on website are very misleading, rooms are tiny. Breakfast left much to be desired. Staff was friendly enough BEST FEATURE: definately the bar area drinks were great bartenders were helpful with dining info and a pleasure to talk too. more
