Been to numerous bed and breakfasts in Cape May and when we stayed at the Bacchus Inn a few years ago we had an amazing stay and have been coming back for a few years now. Inn keepers John and Lisa are great people that make you feel so comfortable. We look forward to afternoon wine and cheese on the... More

So on a Saturday morning my wife looks at me and says we should go to Cape May for the night. We live in Northern NJ but had never been. She jumps online and does a bunch of research and finds The Bacchus Inn. We were only there for one night but rest assured we will go back. Every part... More

My wife & I have traveled, every summer, for the past six years, up from Richmond, VA to Cape May & the Bacchus Inn. Then we spend the rest of the year, and into the next, dreaming about our next trip to Cape May & the Bacchus! Our first visit was so wonderful, thanks to John & Lisa, the hospitable... More

As we were driving down the block looking for the Inn a little after 4pm, we knew we were in the right place when we saw John the inn keeper crossing the street with a glass of wine in his hand. The daily Happy Hour was about to begin! We've stayed at many B&B's and found John to be one... More

We've just completed a second December trip to Cape May and have nothing but fond memories of the town and Bacchus Inn. Located only a few blocks away from the mall and restaurants and when you're done with the crowds there's nothing like a quite afternoon in the front room looking out over all those beautifully decorated victorians as well... This was our first stay at The Bacchus Inn and it was wonderful. Our 1st time ever @ a B&B. The selling point for us from other Cape May B&Bs was the wine & cheese hour plus the free bikes/beach chairs and pool table. We were NOT disappointed. We stayed on the 3rd floor (Chardonnay Room) of the cottage, which... More

My husband and I just returned from our second trip to The Bacchus Inn and even though we have only been there for the past two years, John the innkeeper, made us feel like old friends and not just customers. Many of the guests have been returning for years and I hope that we will be returning for many years... More

My husband and I came here several years ago and have come back every year since. John's hospitality and outgoing personality really make you feel like you're coming home to your own little beach house get away. The wine and cheese hour always has a great wine and sangria selection, and the food is always well thought out and delicious.... More

This is an excellent B&B. The building is beautiful with lovely furnishings. The rooms are tastefully decorated. Breakfast was excellent. Location couldn't be better -- just a few minutes to the beach and to the outdoor shopping area.John, the owner, was terrific.

I took my wife here for our anniversary weekend and I can't say a bad thing. My wife has a severe nut allergy so we are always very careful and skeptical when dining out. We spoke to John the inn keeper upon arrival and he assured us that nothing would be prepared with any type of nut during our stay.... More
