Jim and Lenanne make staying at Cape May a totally friendly, easy, pampered experience. The Albert Stevens Inn is an elegant Victorian, complete with hand painted wall paper, gorgeous antiques, immaculate comfortable bed rooms - without an ounce of pretense. I stayed there twice: once with my Mom for a mother-daughter get away June 2008, and again with my husband,... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our all too short stay at the Albert Stevens Inn. The hosts (Jim & Lenanne) are great and provided much useful information about the town, restaurants and activities. They made a point of learning our interests and helping us fulfill them. The house and rooms are clean, elegant and comfortable. Breakfasts were very nice and we enjoyed... more

Having not been to Cape May in 53 years, we were somewhat concerned that it had been corrupted with high-rise condos, glitzy boutiques, and chain stores. What a wonderful surprise to find it much improved from the 1950s primarily because of B & Bs like the Albert Stevens Inn. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment with our hosts Jim and Lenanne... more

I love anything Victorian and have been wanting to visit Cape May for a very long time. As you can imagine being from the west coast, I have visited San Francisco many times over and never tire of its incredible charms. Well, now, I can add Cape May and the Albert Stevens Inn to my list of favorite places to... more

Lenanne and Jim keep their Inn clean and comfortable. They are both extremely warm, gracious and helpful. My husband and I spent 4 days at the Albert Stevens for R&R before heading north for a graduation. We arranged to stay 2 nights at another B&B near the university. When we checked in to the northern B&B, we both said, "this... more

My in-laws and I came to Cape May on a last minute trip. We only stayed one night but we loved every minute of our stay. We stayed in the Tapestry room and Christopher's cousin's room. Both rooms were really clean and comfortable. The beds and sheets were very nice also. Complimentary sherry and wine and the use of bikes... more

Michael and I visited Cape May for the first time for last weekend's New Jersey Audubon Spring Birding Weekend and were so pleased with the Albert Stevens Inn. The hosts are totally wonderful. Jim suggested several local events and points of interest (world class jazz, winery tours, etc.), and had great recommendations for restaurants that met our needs (early bird... more

My friend and I decided we needed a girls' weekend away. We chose Cape May and decided on the Albert Stevens Inn based on the value, location, 3-course breakfast included, AND wine and cheese at 4pm EVERY DAY! Our stay was comfortable with gracious and accommodating hosts, wonderful food for breakfast every morning, convenient location within walking distance of great... more

My husband and I stayed at the Albert Stevens Inn for our honeymoon in August (I have been meaning to write a review for a while now!). The room we stayed in was The Study, and it was gorgeous - huge, well decorated, impeccably clean, with a lovely bathroom. The decor was very elegant and sleek without being fussy. Obviously,... more
