We have come to Cape May for years. We usually stay at condos which are updated and clean, and cost the SAME PRICE as the dingy little room we had here. We stayed here because the condos did not have a room available for one of the nights we were there. So we stayed at this place for one night... More

Our first visit to the Periwinkle. It was very nice, great location. Overall, it was clean and well-kept. Disappointment was the same problem that seems to be pervasive in all of the Cape May/Wildwood hotels; they don't heat their pools. Advice to all of them: buy a solar cover or turn on the heater. Honestly, the ocean water was warmer... More

We had an acceptable 2 night stay at the Periwinkle. The best description I can offer is that this is a pretty standard, basic motel with very well kept grounds and an excellent location. The building is 3 levels with elevator service at the rear. There is plenty of parking on site. Most rooms have at least a partial ocean view... More

Finding the Periwinkle Inn was a very pleasant surprise. The grounds and rooms are spotless. I was very impressed with everything. Cleanest pool I have ever seen. This Inn is located just far enough from the center of town, but close enough to walk everywhere. We will definitely return again.

This is really the nicest place in Cape May to stay. The owner is very interavtive with her guests and very friendly. The rooms are just your standard motel room but are very clean. My 2 year old loves playing in the sand box with all the toys they have. This was my second trip to this place and I... More

been enjoying this motel over the past 5 years. Close to beach which is not crowded and has a good pool for young kids to play in.

Pros - I was pleasantly surprised by how clean this hotel was! From the lobby, to the ground and most importantly, the rooms! The A/C worked great - loved that we could turn it on and off // high or low when we needed to. We only interacted with the front desk staff who were very friendly and helpful. There... More
