I cannnot say enough good things about this wonderful, clean, thoughtfully decorated and equipped Inn. The lush landscaping and profuse flower beds , black and white awnings and umbrellas -- very French-- very European. Situated where the board walk begins, with access directly accross from beach, great location.. First class restruants within walking distance We stayed on 3 floor with... more

My husband and I stayed at the Periwinkle Inn over The Labor Day weekend to attend a wedding. It was charming. The stairs inside are almost straight up and would be hard for anyone with walking issues. The Inn is centrally located and it was easy to walk to the harbor, museums and restaurants. We'll definitely go back. more

This hotel has a cash only policy. A reservation will be taken by credit card but when you arrive you must pay cash. This is very consumer unfriendly. Why carry around a thousand dollars in cash. There are other hotels on the same strip that are cheaper and better quality that accept credit cards. I have never in my life... more

I stayed at the periwinkle with my children ages 8 and 12 and two of my sisters. The location was excellent. Not only across the street from the beach but a beach entrance. The hotel is charming and very clean. The room was bigger than I expected and a GREAT deal for the money. the staff was courteous and very... more

We really enjoyed our time at Periwinkle Inn: a clean and friendly place. Great location. It is really surprising to see some negative comments. Is there another Periwinkle Inn on Cape May? We are planning to return next summer. more

My husband and I together with our child arrived there earlier than our friends. Our friend was the one who booked the room so we were not allowed to get in the room unless we wait for our friend to come in otherwise we have to pay in CASH so they can accomodate us and inspite the fact that they... more

This was my first trip to Cape May. I went with my 70-yr old mother, so accessibility was most important to us. Our room was clean. Our balcony overlooked an impeccably clean pool & courtyard. The motel had an elevator, and it was just a very short walk across a road (where pedestrians have the right of way) to the... more

We had attended the Annapolis Sailboat Show and decided to make a trip to the Jersey Shore and stay for the night. We saw the Periwinkle and thought it looked nice. My husband went in and got prices. He told me they had a cancellation for a two-night stay and the cost would be $150.00 per night if we took... more
