We've been camping in Cape May NJ for over 20 years and this is the nicest one. Recent upgrades have been made and imagine swimming in a HEATED pool in May. Very clean bath houses. Excellent off season rates and the staff are extremely helpful!

Unlike some of the other reviewers, I found the office staff to be polite but they are certainly not warm and welcoming...just functional. You'll have to pay for wifi. It's not terribly expensive but you'll find it a waste of money anyway because dialup is faster. The bottom line is, there are nicer campsites all around here. Choose one.

This is a nice campground but dealing with the rude owners really puts a damper on our stay. We've attempted to stay her twice and both times the owners were RUDE. You might ask why we went back... Because we wanted to give the ownership the benefit of the doubt. Well, the second go round was worse than the first.... More

We love camping! We've stayed in about 12 campgrounds and Holly Shores is our favorite! Nice pools and great pre-season rates and specials. Close to shopping, the shore and lovely Cape May. We try to go every year. Many updates have been made.

My husband and I are new at camping. Because of our inexperience we were not sure what to expect. The sites were level and surrounded by shade trees. The pool area deserves a standing ovation considering it was a campground pool. There were waterfalls, newer lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas. It would be stiff competition for a swim club.... As a seasonal resident I have been completely entertained and happy with the quality, safety and happiness shown for and by the children who come to participate in campground Halloween activities. I am currently listening to the children's screams and sequels of delight as they ride around the campground on a haunted hayride. No cars or visitors are allowed into... More

I knew when i booked this campground that it wouldnt be very " woodsy" like the natural settings we prefer. But it seemed best in area. Sites were very close to each other...privacy at a minimum. Fortunately our neighbors must only visit on weekends so our midweek stay worked well. Padded sites and campground as whole was well maintained. Pool... More

We stayed for a short family vacation on august 16. We stayed in a cabin. After reading some reviews, I was a little concerned on what I would find. I gotta say we had a good time! Campsites and cabins are close in proximity but everyone we met was friendly and pretty quiet. The cabin was smallish but clean, well... More

Our maiden voyage with our camper was to Holly Shores, and the entire family (parents and 2 boys, ages 9 and 7) was very happy. The campground is well-maintained with clean, shaded sites composed of gravel and a concrete pad. The laundromat was clean (although a bit expensive: $3.00 to wash.) The campground was small enough and friendly enough that... More
