My wife Diane and I really cant say enough about Beauclaire's B&B. The rooms are elegant. Breakfast was always was always a treat, afternoon tea was nice touch. Location was great a half a block from the beach. A big plus was it has parking, which can be a problem in Cape May. The innkeeper Mark made us feel comfortable... more

Two couples came in by sailboat from Chesapeake Bay. After a week on the boat the comfort and charm of Beauclaire's was wonderful. We hated to have to go back to the boat. Mark went out of his way to be helpful. The beach and the historic district were both easy walks. This was important as we were on foot.... more

Our first conversation with Mark was very reassuring. We knew that we might be late arriving and were told how we could check in even well after dark. Our next call was because of a change of plans, again Mark said, "No problem". He was quite accommodating and very understanding. On our (very late) arrival, everything was as Mark had... more

This was my third stay at a B&B and my boyfriends first. The innkeeper Mark was very accommodating from the first email I sent him. He agreed to rent us a room for just Sunday night on Memorial Day weekend at a reasonable price. (A tough thing to come by!) When we arrived he carried my bag to the room... more

My first trip to Cape May during Memorial Day weekend, but my 4th time staying at Beauclaire's, and it was just amazing! Mark is a fabulous chef preparing outstanding breakfasts and delightful afternoon snacks. Beauclaire's has the most beautiful surroundings, whether you appreciate the stained glass window panes, antique furniture, or the view of the beach. I love staying here,... more

We were in Cape May for a family celebration, and ended up taking over virtually the entire bed and breakfast for the weekend - and Mark made us feel so welcome and comfortable that we brought our 20 guests back from our luncheon at The Black Duck on Sunset just to sit in Beauclaire's parlor and talk for a few... more

Checkin was painless and we stayed in a 3rd floor room. Room was good size and had a view of the ocean. House was a couple blocks from town so plenty to do. Internet access was very helpful. If you like Victorian and a nice place to spend a night, this ones worth a try. more

Mark is wonderful and will do anything he can to make your stay everything that it can be. We were there for the Coast Guard Graduation and he helped us out in many ways. The house was beautiful and homey. You could not have expected more. more

My hubby & I stayed for a long weekend and chose the B&B based on reviews. The two Best features: location & the Innkeeper, Mark. This is an ideal spot, just a few properties from the beach & a very close to the downtown shops & restaurants. The Inn itself has a lot of period charm. We really enjoyed Freda's... more

Great atmosphere in this well kept Cape May B&B. Clean and bright, Quiet but not Silent.....Rooms nicely appointed. Mark, the host, is friendly, helpful and can cook a great breakfast. Close to the town center and closer to the beach.....Great location. Just a nice place for a long weekend break or a week's vacation. more
