A fun time, with great food, was enjoyed by our card club this past weekend. Barbara is a gracious host in her lovely inn. We were there last September and couldn't wait to share this special event with friends!

We have stayed at the Henry Sawyer Inn many times when we visit Cape May. It is a lovely small inn conveniently located to the beach and the pedestrian mall. It is lovely seeing the horse and carriages passing by the inn. Barbara, the owner, is lovely and goes out of her way to make you feel at home. She... More

My husband & I combined a college reunion event with an overnight trip to Cape May and stayed at the Henry Sawyer Inn at the recommendation of a friend. What a delight! Location was within walking distance of the beach as well as the Washington Steet shopping/restaurants. We were greeted by Barbara who welcomed us, situated us in our room... More

We stayed at the Henry Sawyer Inn the weekend after Columbus Day. Our Innkeeper, Barbara, showed us to a large comfortable room with some beautiful antique furniture (the bed) and some white wicker chairs (which were ok). During the afternoon, snacks are provided, along with two choices of wine. You can also get some tea or coffee. On Saturday afternoon,... More

What a wonderful place! We stayed at the Henry Sawyer Inn for two days! A lovely B&B whose pictures do not do it justice . Our room, the Abigail Hughes Johnson, was roomy, bright and airy. The five windows light up the room, and when opened we heard the delightful clip-clop of the carriages touring Columbia Avenue. This greatly enhanced... More

Our B&B stay at the Henry Sawyer Inn was just a quick overnight but really quite delightful. This house is located on Columbia Avenue, which I might term 'B&B Row' as there are many along this road. It's a short walk to the beaches on one direction and to the Washington Street Mall in the other. We stayed in the... More

A lovely, historic,Victorian Bed and Breakfast, restored with attention to detail... great service, delicious breakfasts and afternoon tea, and right near the beach and shopping! What more can you ask for? Plus Cape May has so much to offer - Victorian weekends, murder mysteries, tours of the homes and B&B's. We will come back again and again.

I usually research where we stay quite a bit, but we had a last minute idea for a holiday weekend. I emailed several bed and breakfasts to see if anyone had one night available and the Henry Sawyer Inn replied! It was not just an ordinary B&B but we were surprised by the excellent service and delicious snacks all day... More

A terrific time, as usual, in Cape May. Barbara and Frank prepared delicious breakfasts. The room is clean and comfortable Great to sip wine on the porch with other guests. Cape May is the perfect place to relax or to keep super busy. Bicycle ride early in the morning before the streets get too crowded. Try the many wineries. Terrific... More

I was planning on going to Cape may for the weekend with my fiance looking for an escape from the real world. I only wanted to stay 2 nights but most places had a 3 night mandatory stay. I came across the henry sawer inn and found its prices to be decent and it's location only a few blocks from... More
