Fun as alwyas. Great location. Directly across the street from the ocean. The staircase makes the experience more interesting. It is a Victorian era Inn. Interent is not too readily available. I don't go to the beach to use the internet.

There is a lot to be said for this quaint inn. It has much 19th century charm and is across from the ocean. The rooms are spacious and it is filled with history. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed two good nights sleep. There are however numerous drawbacks. The elevator is manned and requires someone to come to run... More

My family and I have vacationed in Cape May every year for well over 20 years. For a few years, we considered ‘trying something new’ but have always thought better of it and went back to Inn of Cape May…and have never been sorry. Although the physical appearance is in need of some sprucing up, the Inn is charming and... More

Once a year whether we need it or not -- and by Labor Day Weekend believe me we need it -- we head to Cape Nay and we invariably stay at the Inn. Funky, creaky, a bit worn but homey, unique, friendly with good food a great porch with breezy ocean views and a short hop across the street to... More

Overall a lovely place, with the highlight being the piña coladas made at the bar. We usually don't drink fru-fru drinks but had heard they were out of this world. Ordered two (at $9.00 a piece, totally worth it ) on Friday night, sat out on the porch, feeling the ocean breeze and enjoyed them. However, on Saturday night, ordered... More

The Inn was cozy, elegant, funky and fun. A very clean, well run, antique building. Our room had a view to the beach, big old fashined sash windows with flowing curtains, and the sound of the surf nearby. It was fun to meet other guests on the stairs, on the porch chairs and in the Altheathea's Restaurant on the ground... More

If you like big, old, airy, creaky-floored hotels that are just off the beach and host a lobby and front porch with lots of charm then you'll enjoy The Inn of Cape May. There is a nice, on-site restaurant that offers a good breakfast. Our suite on the top floor was a bit dated, but provided plenty of space and... More

I have to admit, I was leery about our weeklong vacation at the Inn after reading some of the reviews here -- but I am so glad we stuck to our guns and stayed there. What's important to know is what the Inn is NOT.... it's not a modern hotel chock full of amenities, it's not a 5-star resort. It... More

We rented three rooms for our family of 6 and had a lovely night at the shore. The rooms were a lil old fashioned Haha. What we expected. The porch is lovely and the rest of the Inn is delightfully old and has the old fashioned beach feel. Breakfast was good. This is not luxury accommodations, but it is exactly... More

This was our first time staying at the Inn and we loved it! The room set up was perfect for 2 parents and a child with a shared bathroom yet 2 separate rooms. A pool on site and the beach right across the street was perfect. Loved the porch with all the rocking chairs! Great restaurant too. I had a... More
