Yikes! We arrived with another couple early Monday afternoon to check-in for the week, but were told we would need to wait until 4:00 PM to be able to get into our room(s). So we walked the boulevard and local plaza for 3+ hours before returning. Upon check-in, we received our cable/tv remote control and room key. Umm..., ok. I... More

We have vacationed in Cape May for years when kids were growing up in bed and breakfasts. Now they are grown with children and we needed that "Cape May" experience that now requires proximity to ocean, a pool for kids, good food and overall Victorian character. It was well maintained and how wonderful to sit on that wrap around porch... More

We got one of the last rooms at the Inn for a long weekend. I've stayed in Cape May many times but had never stayed here. The room they gave us looked like it was from the 60s. And smelled like whoever stayed there last had been there since the 60s. The rug was old, industrial and smelled like urine.... More

Over 20 years I've stayed at the Inn of Cape May several times. I've also stayed at high end B and B's which spoiled me. The Inn is now too dated and worn out. They didn't go for quality as they renovated....bathroom fixtures, AC, amenities, cheap shower stalls to name a few. It needs paint, but they should get down... More

The "Jersey Girls" second trip to relive their youth! My friend and I stayed here last your for one night and loved it so much that we decided this year we'd stay for two nights. Our room was clean and comfortable; air conditioning was great for an old hotel. A large and delicious breakfast menu is included with your stay.... More

We stayed at the Inn of Cape May this past Friday night. I was underwhelmed. The location was really nice. They had a deck right outside of our room for all patrons to sit and watch the boardwalk and gaze out at the ocean. That part was nice. Our room was on the corner of the 2nd floor. It was... More

The Inn of Cape May is a beautiful Victorian Inn. The staff is extremely helpful. The food in the restaurant is wonderful and the veranda bar fabulous The difficulty, that will keep us from returning, is that the Inn permits smoking on the porches . Since this is an old building the smoke finds it way into the lobby and... More

So after booking this Inn back in December, I saw all the bad reviews and I was starting to get nervous. Don't listen to them! The Inn from the outside is absolutely stunning. The location can not be beat. The pool is clean and warm...my son loved it. The location is a 5 minute walk from town and across the... More

Everything at this Inn was as expected. The staff was exceptional. Don't fear any negative reviews. I kept waiting to encounter someone who was less than accommodating and it absolutely never happened. The bartender is top notch. The food preparers are fantastic. The building is old but it is well maintained and kept clean. The pool area was kept very... More
