Stayed off-season in French Turret suite, on beautiful, but blustery weekend. Cozy place, but could do with a sprucing up. Kitchen is magnificent & well-equipped for such a small space. Bathroom is unique, but a bit run down--peeling ceiling, rusty pipes, etc. But awesome high turret ceiling with dimming chandelier over claw-foot tub. Main bedroom in turret has great ambiance.... Think of every bad experience you have ever had at a hotel or B&B and that will sum up this place. Owner was rude, staff was hard to reach, no parking, ect...So many other places we have stayed in Cape May that are just amazing. Don't waste your time or money here it will ruin you Cape May vacation.

We stayed with our 9 and 14 yr olds in top floor, Turret suite. It was literally across street from every restaurant, ice cream joint and coffee shop you can imagine. Madd batter best brunch! Block to beach and bars. There is an amazing rooftop deck overlooking the town. Suite is spotless, no odors, decorated delightfully. Fully equipped kitchen and... More

We stayed in the townhouse in June, 2013. Great location and the owners were very accessible and friendly. The beach is a very short walk and all the shopping and many restaurants are literally right outside the door. The kitchen was well stocked with various appliances, cookware, etc. If a person cannot do stairs that would be an issue. Lots... More

Stayed at the townhouse. It was short block to the beach and walking distance to all attractions. Five of us stayed and with three floors it was more then enough space. The lower level is basement level and little dark and musty. The kitchen was well stocked and the living room was cozy and a small half bathroom. On the... More

My Wife, 2 1/2 year old Son and Mother-in-Law and I stayed on the 3rd floor of the Merry Widow called the "French Turret Suite". Small but quaint and accomodated our party of (4) very nicely. We called Victoria at the last minute as our original plans for Memorial Day weekend did not work and we lucked out that a... More

We stayed in the town house, which was spacious and comfortable for our family of four. The decor fit the setting, yet wasn't oppressively floral. The lovely marble main bathroom had plenty of hot water and fluffy towels, and we appreciated having a powder room right next to the entry and kitchen. The many stairs would exclude my arthritic parents,... More
