I would never stay at this hotel again! I registered late for a convention which was being held at a nearby hotel, and The Palace was recommended. The recommendation must have been a practical joke! Two different front desk persons were rude. The rooms, while clean, were dated from the '60s, the TV was at least 15 years old with... More

This is a group that stays with us every year, and we have many (25 to 30 rooms) people who specifically request to stay at our hotel, even though they are required to register at the hotel that is hosting the convention. This person was probably disgruntled having to pay the convention price, when our regular rates are lower. However,... More

I organized a weekend trip for our club and could not have been more satisfied. From the first phone call until checkout, I have nothing but compliments for this hotel and the staff. The room rates cannot be beat for what's included. Each room had an balcony and ocean view - most had a side view but that was enough... More

Family style hotel across the street from the beach. Older, but, very clean and quiet property. The front desk staff was very pleasant and had beach toys as a gift for my 2 1/2 yo Grandson at check in. Our room was large with a king and a double bed, large bathroom and a kitchenette. We had a great stay,... More

We had a negative taste in our mouth prior to check in due to the rude, unpleasant and unprofessional receptionist. Something personal came up so we were thinking of canceling our stay. We call and ask about the cancellation policy. Instead of being professional the woman laughed and said there's absolutely nothing they can do to accommodate us. Policy is... More

We have stayed at the Palace Hotel three times in the last four years. Our experience has always been very good. The hotel is old, but that is part of the charm of staying in Cape May. I love the fact that it's small, has a beautiful view of the ocean and easy access to the beach. The kitchen area... More

The hotel was very clean and the people who ran it were very nice. its right accross the beach and a great location in cape may. It it quite old and could use an update. Also parking is an issue. We stayed in the best room at the Palace Hotel and we terribly disappointed that both queen beds were hard as rocks. The bedspreads were very old, thin and looked dirty. The high price of the room certainly warranted a comfortable bed to sleep in. I heard other people complain about their beds, too. We hardly slept because of the... More

We rented a house in Cape May from Saturday to Saturday but decided to stay an extra night and went in search of a beach front hotel. Our first hotel we stumbled into was full, so we went next door to The Palace. A very grand name for rather a crappy motel. The front desk woman was very nice and... More

Parking is a problem. You must unload and park off site...not enough spots for guests...you park behind property in the residential section. We arrived early and our room was ready...great? Not really. The bedding was not changed- rumpled and black hairs in the double, peanuts on the floor, etc. Didn't bother the staff as we didn't want any problems...so off... More
