To celebrate my husband's birthday, I wanted to take him away for a relaxing, no expectations weekend trip. We had never been to Cape May so decided to try it. I reserved Suite 302 in the new wing behind the mansion, because it had a jacuzzi tub for two and a shower for two as well as an electric fireplace.... More

This is my second time here, love this place! The rooms are clean, love the old mansion feel, enjoyed Room 6.The heated pool and the delicious breakfast are a wonderful treat. I recommend for couples only, such a quiet nice getaway from my 4 children. I haven't heard silence in ages. It was so nice to feel like we had... More

We visited Wilbraham Mansion and Cape May for New Year's last year, and decided to return this year. It's a convenient drive from northern NJ, and a nice, relaxing few days. We stayed in the newer building in one of the suites, and greatly appreciated the gas fireplace and the spacious shower. The rooms are beautifully decorated. We had to... More

We've stayed at Cape May many times at various B&Bs. I thought we'd try a new place that was more off the beaten track, so we tried the Wilbraham. We had a couple of complaints about this place, especially in comparison to other B&Bs in the area. This establishment is trying to really be a mini hotel rather than a... More

As you can see from the previous 300 reviews, I usually don't respond to reviews as I prefer to let my guests have their opinions heard without my comment. However, when a reviewer has an ax to grind and writes half truths, I am obligated to respond, To begin with, it would have been more honest of you to let... More

This is a hard one to write - I would give the room a five, but the breakfast (which is of course an important part of a bed and breakfast) only a three. First the good parts - all of our contacts with the owners prior to arriving were great - they were most gracious and helpful. The room had... More

We loved the Wilbraham! Got to see their holiday decorations go up. So authentic and beautiful. Full, hearty and delicious breakfast and treats at tea time. The largest room we've had anywhere (room 201, with huge double jacuzzi and small but beautiful fireplace). Easy walk to the beach and shopping district (and we are not athletic). Doug was late to... What a beautiful venue for a wedding! The rooms were each individually decorated, the mains soon rooms were stunning with Victorian details and the owners and staff were charming and helpful! Breakfasts were served beautifully and also yum yum yummy!! A 10 minute walk to historic Cape May homes, restaurants and beaches make this a perfect choice for a weekend... More

We enjoyed our stay at the mansion very much. It was the best of both worlds for my preferences, which was a B&B plus a room with antique touches but also a beautiful in-room jacuzzi and very comfortable bed and chairs.... The house is very big and not that intimate a feeling, but we really enjoyed it nonetheless. The other... More

Very good B&B. Breakfasts are pretty good. Also, you can enjoy afternoon tea. It has additional features like free beach chairs, bikes, bottled water. Spacious rooms, nice staff. One building has elevator - very convinient.

Our 2nd year celebrating my Birthday here! Owners and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are CLEAN! We were so happy to use the complimentary bikes. This property is a quick ride or easy walk to the beach, restaurants, shopping, etc.. Love the Jacuzzi and the pool was great as it rained for 1/2 the time we were there!... More
