The Inn is only 2 very short blocks from a terrific beach. The area is easy to get around and is "foot friendly". Tom and RoseMary were terrific hosts and helped us very quickly acclimate to the area. They also provide a very delicious filling breakfast. The wrap-around porch is a great place to relax and the kitchenette for guest... more

This bed and breakfast is delightful. The breakfast is amazing and the accommodations are wonderful. The furnishings are comfortable, the atmosphere relaxed, and yet you feel like royalty and family all at the same time. I can't wait to go back. more

We had a family function at the Jersey shore, and decided to leave a day early and spend a day at the beach to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. We stayed at the Inn at the Shore, and were really happy we did. It's hard to tell from their website, but it's only a pleasant 2 minute walk to the... more

When I finally convinced my husband to stay at a Bed and Breakfast, I was a little apprehensive about the privacy issue since my spouse is a business man who wants a little solitude when we get away. We were very pleased to find that the Innkeepers here are very friendly and accommodating (you know that their aim is to... more

I booked a weekend at the shore last summer (2005). When we arrived and the people realised we were not old fogies (my friend and i are both 27) they treated us like absolute c**p. The house was a freak show filled with teddy bears and dolls every where you look (or step) - someone needs to grow up! -... more

Unfortunately we do not have a record of this incident. We give a key to all guests so it is impossible to be locked out. The doorbell rings in our private quarters. Our website & brochure states that we are family friendly and a "home away from home". People who do not want that atmosphere usually do not stay with...

For the price charged, Breakfast should be more interesting than premaid pancakes and frozen sausage plus dry cereal. The major annoyance is syrupy music which is piped onto the porch asnd living room and common areas. If you want piece and quiet this can drive you nuts. And the FIREPLACES are not real but gas heaters with fake lights to... more

We are so much more than our breakfasts but to set the record straight. Our breakfast is a two hour buffet consisting of a hot dish ie, creme brulet french toast, or apple french toast, or a fritata or quiche or yogurt or blueberry pancakes (prepared as guest arrive in the dining room and a breakfast meat (never frozen, of...
