My Girlfriend and I just stayed at the Morning Dove this weekend and it is our home away from home. The service from Innkeeper Carol Lee is exceptional and the place is so sweet you will want to come back again and again. Them rooms are immaculate and the inn has little touches of the innkeeper everywhere you look. The... more

A few years ago, I wrote a review on The Morning Dove Inn with a similar title. A recent Fourth of July weekend stay only confirms my and my girlfriend's high regard for Innkeeper Carol Lee, and her beautiful Bed & Breakfast by the sea. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The gourmet breakfasts are delicious. You'll OD... more

We have stayed at the Morning Dove Inn several times. We enjoy the atmosphere and comfort like being in our own home. The Inn is steps from the beach and the front rooms have a beautiful view of the lake. You can walk to town for a delicious meal or to shop. Near by towns have plenty to offer. Have... more

We stay at a lot of B&B's for pleasure and business. TV in our room was the size of a postage stamp. Early Sears late basement decor. rooms are large and near the ocean but much too expensive for what you get. We wouldn't go back. Owner is in your face. owner pinches pennies with the utilities - when we... more

This place is in a lovely lakeside location in view of the ocean. We found the premises to be clean and in good shape. The breakfast is served around one large dining table, rather than the usual smaller tables, and although it is possible for couples to move to the sun room to eat, we enjoyed the company of the... more

Stayed for 1 night while touring the Jersey Shore... making the trip to see Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band historic points. Location was absolutely beautiful. Did not expect this. Truthfully was just looking for a place to sleep for a night, instead we found a hidden treasure. Amazing. Made several walks to the beach and around the surrounding... more

We needed a place to stay near Monmouth Park for the Breeders Cup, and finally settled on this place. And what a stroke of luck that was. The B&B is charming and in perfect condition. Everything works, the rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and actually charming. We loved the personal... more

Carol Lee (the inn keeper) provides exactly what you expect from a B&B innkeeper. She is warm and friendly. Her knowledge of the local area makes selecting the perfect place for dining out easy! The Inn is immaculately kept. The rooms are bright and well decorated without being cluttered. Each room has its own bathroom and shower, hair dryer, alarm... more
