A perfect few days on LBI. Closest walk to the beach imaginable, and I hate the walk to the beach. The motel's oceanfront units have an immediate view over the dune to the beach and ocean. The pool was warm and inviting. The sign says no flotation devices, but I brought and use three "noodle" tubes and no one complained.... More

We usually stay at the Engleside, but opted for the Coral Seas due to availability. No regrets - would stay here again. If you are a light sleeper who needs a silent room, ask about the ac units when reserving. We were in a suite and both units in each room were terrifically loud. But we did get used to... More

Never in my life did I think I would have a problem booking a room for after my wedding, but that is exactly what happened. I called to book a block of rooms for after my wedding reception next month, and the man on the phone flat out told me he doesn't want our group there. Because we will be... More

the hotel room gave all three of my family members headaches. The room stunk like mold and mildew. The owners were rude and talked down to us, making nasty comments as we asked for a refund. The wallpaper in the bathroom was torn and had black mold behind the paper. The wifi didn't work and either did the tv. The... More

I stayed at the Coral Seas for four nights and I absolutely loved it. I had a room on the third floor facing the ocean and the view was phenomenal. With the window open at night, I could hear the waves breaking on the beach. The room was extremely clean, but be forewarned that it is a little bit dated.... More

We stayed here July 26th for 3 nights with our teen sons and we loved it. Great location! You are right on the beach but also close walking distance to so many stores and restaurants. Rooms are outdated but very clean. We got a suite which gave us alot of space. Pool was nice and clean and never crowded. It... More

We stay at Coral Seas every year for long and holiday weekends. We just stayed over the July 4th weekend, which did require a four night reservation. They were completely booked, with many families. I have never been there when it was so crowded, but it was still lovely. One of the nice things about this place is they attract... More

We stayed at the Coral Seas for a long weekend 7/10 - 7/14. As we did not plan on spending much time in the room we booked a Standard room which consisted of 2 double beds, dresser, flat screen TV , coffee maker and mini-fridge. The room was very clean and did not have that musty Jersey Shore motel smell.... More

This property has A LOT going for it, and I will definitely return. 1. Everything is dated. But it is VERY clean and VERY well maintained. It's like you took a time machine back to 1972 and the owner just purchased all the tables, umbrellas, lounges, etc. There wasn't a single strap broken on ANY lounger or chair in the... More

Coral seas is not a luxury hotel but it does not assert that it is one. It is clean, comfortable and well maintained. Management is courteous and accommodating. It is located directly on the ocean and has a nice sized pool. Hotels/motels on LBI are, by design, small, family owned and operated establishments. There are no upscale, modern high-rise hotels...
