New name and new owners. The best part is that it's close to the beach....a half block. The condo units are small but it's not like you are spending a lot of time in there because you are at the beach. The kitchen was helpful to have some meals at home and save money. The Mussel Beach Club (which I never stayed at) is now The Beach Club at Pearl Street. This is an excellent place to stay in Beach Haven! I felt that the name of the establishment is misleading because it is basically a no frills motel, except that there is a separate room with a stove, full size refrigerator, and cooking utensils. I liked the room in some ways but it should have had room services for the money.The owners are not that friendly but helpful on request.I am not a clean freak but I thought it would have been nice if the owners had offered to clean the room after a day or two. more
Excellent small motel strip about 25 yards from the beach. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Rooms are a little out of date, but your time should be spent on the beach, on the deck, or around town. Each room has its own little kitchen and dining area which makes it a whole lot cheaper for those in-between meals or snacks.... more
WE have visited Beach Haven many times and have stayed at the Mussel Baech club at least four times throughout the years in the summer months.
