Stayed 2 nights in room 19 because of 2 beds. The house was well maintained and very, very clean. The Inn owner, Glen is very personable and knowledgeable about local news, events and things to do. The inside sitting room was cozy with comfortable furniture. The outside second floor porch faced East and South with the first floor porch facing... More

We have stayed at the Bentley Inn with some frequency, our third home is more acccurate, and have always relished the personal hospitality we receive from Glenn, Janet and the staff. Thank you for always making it seem so special.

We stayed here for the weekend of our wedding and it was perfect! Glenn, the innkeeper is so nice and hospitable and the breakfast was great every morning! This is a perfect Bay Head Inn. It's charming and beachy. It's so close to the beach and the bay and the shops of Bay Head. They have beach towels and chairs... More

This was the first bed and breakfast my boyfriend and I have gone to. We were unsure what it'd be like and were not too keen on the thought of sitting at a big table with all the other guests for breakfast in the morning (that was our impression of a bed and breakfast). From the second we rang the... More

This inn has a great location. Walk 2 minutes to the beach, walk 2 minutes to the bay. We had a room with a private bath and access to the second floor balcony. Though fairly small, the room was very clean. It is charming and decorated with older furniture and decor. But I thought it was adorable. If you're looking... More

My daughter and I stayed overnight for a very short get-away. The Inn is so very charming, the Proprietor is very accommodating, and the breakfast was one of the best I've had in a very long time. Amenities are perfect, with a large video library, Wi-Fi, cozy living room, and huge breakfast area. Would definitely stay here again and again!

Our recent stay at the Bentley Inn was terrific. Glenn the proprietor is a natural--he's very attentive to the needs of his customers, is truly a personable guy, and has a real knack for making one feel right at home. We stayed in the Jeffrey Dennis room, which is located in the rear of the building. It had a full... More

The innkeeper, Glenn, was gracious and made us feel welcome. The Inn is an old rennovated boarding home. Personally, I am not into nostalgia and "cute." The room was cramped but it had a cramped bathroom. Larger rooms share bathrooms. I gave up sharing when I left the military. I enjoyed the large porch. The location is convenient to the... More

Thank you for the kind words. We try to make everyone feel welcomed, well cared for and at home. The Inn is decorated with it's time period in mind and was actually never a boarding house. It was built as a summer home in the late 1800's then became an inn in the 1920's. Our rooms are small (the idea... More

I had visited Bay Head as a kid and was interested in visiting there again on a recent trip east. My wife and I stayed 3 nights and Glenn the inn keeper could not have been more responsive and helpful. We had a great room on the second floor with a bath and direct access to the veranda. While they... More

We loved staying at the Bentley Inn. We rented two rooms, one for my husband and I, and the the other for our three children. We shared a bathroom between us as the rooms were next to eachother with the bathroom connecting them. First, the rooms are immaculate. Beds are very comfortable. The rooms are nicely decorated with a vintage,... More
