For ALL of my employees, this place was ery pleasurable overall. They give unique attention to every guest (the front desk wrote me a haiku and a choice of complimentary cocktail or breakfast, and my associate got free chocolate and complimentary upgrade and extras for being Priority Club member). I haven't stayed at a hotel yet who was so happy... more

After reading all the bad reviews I was worried about this hotel. However, after arriving and checking into our room, all my fears were relieved. The hotel is clean, comfortable and has a nice vibe to it. The decor is what I like to describe as "Ikea Spa" and you can tell the place was recently redone. The woman at... more

The Hotel Indigo allowed other intoxicated guests to do the following: 1. Keep us up due to loud noise after 1AM 2. Verbally abuse us 3. Threaten us with violence both verbally and in writing 4. Block our room door shut so we could not exit the room When we asked the staff to do something, they said they had... more

I landed up in this hotel through priceline. To start with the room service is available during the day time only and at 8AM you want something you have to come down to the front desk. Basic things like brush and tooth paste also were not available. The worst part is they told breakfast is complimentary while we checked in.... more

I stayed for a couple of days at the Indigo hotel in Basking Ridge. It is in a quite neighbourhood and the hotel was quiet and comfortable. There was a mix up in the type of room I had requested, but the front desk was competent and got my correct room without any trouble. more

We had a difficult time getting a room with the group for the wedding we were attending. Check in was slow and the staff seemed clueless. The worst part was another party in our wedding group, friends of ours, checked in about an hour after we did and were given our room! Thank goodness it was someone we knew that... more

This place has been recently renovated and is way better than its older self. The floor is wood (or is laminate?) which makes it way cleaner and streamlined. The bed is very comfortable and the flat screen TV is nice. You get free wireless (very convenient for work) and the place serves breakfast and dinner (again, highly convenient for someone... more

I don't normally write reviews like this, but I just had to warn future guests about the difficulties they may come across. My daughter's wedding was held nearby and family/guests were staying here. I had booked two nights and had thought all was taken care of, only to discover that a few weeks later, they had no record of me... more

I agree with the other reviewer in recommending NOT booking your wedding block here. When we first signed on, we did so with The Inn at Somerset Hills. We were told that the renovations (to Hotel Indigo) were scheduled to be completed by April of 2008. I can 100% understand the work, detail, etc that goes into renovating such a... more

My family has lived in the Basking Ridge area for years. I visit about once a year. What a big difference from my last stay. The new owners of this hotel have completely renovated the property from top to bottom. The hotel is fresh and clean. The same room in NY would be $400+ a night. A definite recommend for... more
