The room looked like an individual cabin. it was beautiful. The mattress (not the bed) squeaked when we turned over but it was comfortable. The only concern we had was the low shelf when we came out of the bathroom. We had to make sure we didn't hit our heads or face on it. The size made it very comfortable.... More

The Nootka Lodge is not a 'chain' type of hotel. It's a Mom&Pop sort of place and kind of a throwback to the types of motels that families would stay in on road trips back in the 50s. The rooms are postage stamp size but they do manage to fit all the amenities you'd want into a small area. (Fridge,... More

We had an excellent experience and would definitely plan to stop there on any trip through the area. We had a second floor room in the main building with spacious cathedral ceilings and a huge log ridge beam, a balcony overlooking a nicely landscaped front yard, an oversize floor plan, clean well equipped bathroom, and generally comfortable room. The log... More

My sister and I arrived at Nootka Lodge the night of August 16th. We couldn't believe our eyes. The sink and toliet were brown in it.,so was the sink The box springs had large stains across the sides. When My sister took a shower there seemed to appear words written on the wall like "redrum" murder spelled backwards. (The Shining).... More

Even though the room was cabin like, it was hard to get past the hundred carpenter ants we were stuck with in our room (I also posted a photo). It made it hard to sleep (with alternate accommodations not an option) wondering how many ants we may officially be sharing the bed with come morning. I woke all night checking....... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Nootka Lodge as we were in town for a wedding. The property is beautiful with a nice sized, clean outdoor pool, The room was quite large and comfortable and rustic. We were lucky to stay on the second floor with a balcony. The game room was so much fun... with air hockey and 2... More

The photo's show the nices part of the wooden cabins. They also hace older type cabins, which we stayed in (family suite). The suite is basically a connecting door that combines two bedrooms. Rooms are small with older interiors, but everything works. Fridge is available in the room. Walmart is around the corner.

Stayed here this past Friday night. The room was not what I consider up to date I believe "This End Up" furniture was a big thing 25 years ago. Evidently the King sized mattress was purchased at around the same time. Very old and very uncomfortable. Wifi basically nonexistent. I also felt that the room was not the cleanest perhaps... More
