Read the other reviews and believe me: it is all true. The owners speak English and French. The room has everything you need, like a table and a small desk and a king bed (that was room # 10) Even the smallest detail is very thoughtfully provided: an old rag to clean your car! We were here for two nights... More

From the moment we arrived the owners, Dennis and France Demers, treated us like old friends who had come for a visit, rather than motel customers. Their hospitality is evidenced by the many extra features on the motel grounds - from the large game room behind the sparkling pool to the gas grills and picnic tables above the river. It's... More

My husband and I hop on our motorcycle and take a trip up to see Dennis & Franc a lot. They are the best hosts you will ever meet. They are hard working people who take pride in their motel. The rooms are affordable and very clean. It's so convienent to shops, restaurants & bars that you don't need to... More

When I checked in he didn't say a word about the property or the area. Later that night I went to the office and asked for the fire pit to be lit because my daughter and I wanted to toast marshmallows. (The sign by the pit read 7 to 10 PM.) It was only 8:30, but after giving me every... More

What a wonderful motel - a throw back to the fifties! I felt like Janet Leigh in Pyscho - pre-murder of course! The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. They even have a 25c vibrating bed! My brother had stayed here for a night before, and took us here whilst we were visiting New Hampshire. We only stayed the... More

A local cyclist recommended this place. I'm glad she did. All the other places nearby were extortionate in price. I'd just enquired at the Comfort Inn. Being a Sunday night, the prices were silly money. This place was far better. there's no fancy frills here, but travelers seem to like it. Lots of decent characters here. plenty of amenities nearby.... More

This place is awesome, yes it is old and dated, but it is probably the most clean room I have ever stayed in!! it still has vibrating beds, the rooms are small but it has everything you need. It is right on the river, they have full size gas grills to use to cook with, the place is very deceiving... More

We arrived in town with no plans other than looking for some moose, and we were lucky to get a room on a Saturday night. The owner was so helpful and friendly, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The town overall is really charming, so we will be back and we will definitely stay here again.
