We stayed in the newer part of the hotel for $250 a night--2 nights for a wedding; I guess the rates are high because there's not a lot of competition. When we arrived, there was a large party in the chairs right outside our room, though they moved when we (diplomatically) greeted them. The room was pleasant but rock music... More

Overall our rooms were nice. They were recently remodeled, comfortable beds, we were able to have adjoining rooms. Rooms were clean but the stairwells had dead bugs and lots of spider webs. No phones in the rooms and staff was limited.

Clean room, great owner, and seconds from down town Wolfboro. The owner was extremely nice and could talk local shop with my father who lived there for 20 years. We have been in colorado for 28 years and came back for a funeral. the owner is a true resident. What else do you want?

We stayed in the Lake House, Room 1 for a week this summer, and the owners Mark and Karen were excellent hosts. I didn't see any of the other rooms, but our room was quite large, we were on the first floor. We had a fireplace and were able to walk out onto a deck that overlooked the lake. Wish... More

We stayed for 2 nights and wished we had more time. The place was spotless with everything we needed. The owner could not have been friendlier and staff seemed the same. People relaxed in their own ways, reading, sunning, kayaking, fishing, just peacefully doing their own thing.

Wonderful very last minute trip to Wolfeboro NH. The Lake motel was able to accommodate a family of five. Clean comfortable rooms and a lovely beach to swim and relax. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable!

My husband and I stopped by the Lake Motel without reservations and with hopes that a room might be available. The owner and staff were GREAT! They worked with us to find a room that met (and exceeded) our expectations. Our room was comfortable, cozy, and inviting. We had a beautiful deck overlooking the lovely beach. In the morning we... When booking this motel, we called and the owner was very accomodating, answering any questions we had. We booked four rooms for several adults and children. It's less than five minutes from the center of town. When we pulled up, we were a bit skeptical, as the exterior resembles the old style motor lodge type place, looking rundown. But, we... More

This was our 2nd year staying, and is so close to downtown and Lake W. We were able to stay in the new units which are a huge upgrade from the traditional motel - kitchenette, very large, clean and tremendous value for our large family. Would strongly suggest trying to book those rooms there. The owner (Dave) is always focused... More

We spent a weekend in this motel for a family wedding. After reading these reviews, I was very excited to stay here. Upon arrival, we became skeptical as we drove into the parking lot, and then EXTREMELY disappointed after seeing our room. I suppose it met the bare standards of cleanliness (and I mean bare standards) but the room condition... More
