This was ur first stay at MVG but hopefully not our last. Fairly well kept up for an older property, the children's amenities, welcoming atmosphere and accessible location are all pluses. The service was very good and the variety of activities allowed us to keep our toddler entertained for three wonderful days, despite one day of rain storms.

We live on Cape Cod and wanted to get away for a weekend in the mountains for something different. The hotel was incredible and the food was excellent. The Wine Cellar is a must for anyone who likes an intimate setting for dinner. The staff was professional and courteous and the golf course was a nice relaxing but challenging 9... More

This is our 5th year staying at the MVG with our 3 children. The highlight as always is the Mountaineering Club which they look forward to every day. Ms Baker does an amazing job and is the most enthusiastic club Director of anywhere we have visited! Kids love the boat races, bingo and wiffle ball and soccer tournaments.. For the... More

I am a hotel snob and I really loved it here. First, the views from the veranda is just amazing, I think the best I have seen anywhere in NH. The veranda and the nightly music (5-8 pm) on Friday and Saturday were just so relaxing. My travel partner and I both enjoyes several spa services. The spa was wonderful,... More

I have to warn everyone with any physical limitation this is a place to avoid. They only have one elevatorn which is probaly the original unit. A bus boy has to run it and it is unstaffed a great deal of the time. So getting down from the upper floors is difficult and often requires you to go back to... More

While recognizing that the MVG is a wonderful location for couples and families a like, the experience at the clubhouse / pool area has been very disappointing this year. In the past, the area had an ample selection of choices from the lunch menu. Now guests can only expect to get pizza and salad. When I first heard the story,... More

We were sent here by the nearby Mount Washington hotel, which was sold out for the night. Avoid at all costs. The staff provided nothing coming close to customer service, and nothing that would be expected at a luxury historic mountain hotel. The attendant at the pool bar laughed when he realized the pen he'd provided my husband was leaking;... More

Great place! activities throughout the day and night. Child friendly. Great history. Will definitely come again. Try the axe throwing competition! Tennis courts are great. Kids loved the playground. Drop off the kids at the mountaineering club for a relaxing day.

Mountain View Grand Resort is a wonderful place to stay in northern New Hampshire. There are a number of activities on-site (mountain biking, hiking, golf, swimming---to name a few. Staff members were extremely helpful and very accommodating. A shoutout to Shelby Stetson for her excellent "above and beyond" customer service. The on-site restaurant was fabulous with equally excellent customer service.... More
