Just returned from three days with three young children. All of the staff in this hotel go above and beyond to be kind and friendly, as well as to ensure that every need/request is met. The hotel is immaculate in every corner from the rooms, to the pools, to the grounds. The scenery is breathtaking (and they serve drinks/lite fare... more

We just had my daughter's wedding at the Mt. View. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were fine, but the wedding was a big dissapointment. Three weeks prior to the wedding they changed wedding planners and the chef. The wedding coordination was unprofessional and disorganized. No one new where to be and when. We ordered a cup cake agarengent... more

Any guest that does not enjoy their experience at our resort saddens us. However I am compelled to factually describe the events surrounding this guest’s comments. We hosted the wedding for 143 guests beginning with a rehearsal dinner on Friday night, breakfast, lunch and wedding reception Saturday followed by breakfast Sunday morning. Throughout all of these meals, the only negative...

Our family went with another family to the Mountain View Grand over the Memorial Day holiday weekend, and had the best experience. From the minute we pulled into the circular driveway, and Rick greeted us, we felt like guests in the true sense of the word. The lobby was elegant and relaxed with leather chairs and board games, and then... more

Needed some R&R and saw this place on our way back from staying somewhere else. It is beautiful. The room was recently remodeled, and was quite lovely. We were fortunate and had one of the few rooms with a balcony. The balcony could use some upgrading as it has uneven footing and rotting windows but there was construction going on... more

Staff was super friendly and couldnt do more for us. The bartender "Diane"was great, she always remembered what we drank and called us by name whenever she saw us. When the only spa appointment available was the morning of our initial checkout, the front desk was happy to offer a late checkout, and when I suggested we might actually stay... more

I stayed at the Mountain View Grand this past weekend and loved it. The views are spectacular and the staff were very friendly. We first were given a small room but then after asking for something larger we got a great room with huge bathroom and living area. We got room service twice and the menu was suprisingly well priced... more

Just wrapped up my 3rd winter trip and only become more impressed each year. The room rates are incredibly reasonable for a resort packed w/ top notch facilities, including a beautiful spa, gym, movie theater, tubing hill (and tubes), cross country trails (and skis), etc. Within 30 minutes of both Bretton Woods (great family skiing) and Cannon (more challenging), it... more

We stayed at Mountain View for 5 nights (extended our trip by 1 day) this past week (first visit), and had an A++ stay. The hotel was very family friendly (we were traveling with our 5 children, ages 2-10), and there was plenty to do for everyone. Our favorite activities were ice skating, snowmobiling, tubing, swimming, game room(s), movie theatre,... more

This resort is breathtaking. The website photos do not do enough justice. The amount of detail in every hallway, room, dining area and even the pool is spectacular. Despite the prior reviews regarding dining experiences we took that into account and made sure we planned ahead and made reservations every night. Dining service and food was excellent. In our five... more

My husband and I were looking for a quiet weekend getaway from the city and could not have picked a better location. The views are stunning and the staff could not have been nicer. We stayed in a Victorian room ,which was spacious and comfortable, and had fabulous views of the mountains. On the Saturday we skied in nearby Cannon... more
