We stay at the MVG at least once every 2 months so relax and unwind. The service is unmatched and the views are spectacular. We have a 7 month old and she fits right in with the rest of the travelling families. Highly recommended! more

We were visiting friends in Boston. Thought we would sightsee and take in the "colors" when the leaves changed. We got settled into our room when I noticed hundreds of black flies. I went to the front desk where I was presented with a printed sheet detailing the seasonal black fly swarms. Nothing was mentioned about this when we reserved... more

My wife and I went there for a close friend's wedding. Here are the pluses: Gorgeous scenery, especially in fall. The leaves had already changed. The wedding was amazing - they did a fantastic job and the food was excellent. The breakfast buffet was way better than average. Now, the downside: The room. We booked months in advance and we... more

Spent a couple nights at the MVG over Columbus Day weekend - peak foliage and it was gorgeous. Our stay was great although I suspect it would have been even better had we gone on a less busy weekend - Columbus Day weekend is one of if not the busiest in the White Mountains. The property itself is beautiful -... more

If you're going to do one thing at this resort. Do the spa bath at the top of the spa tower. It is peaceful, the view incredible, the staff makes you very comfortable. My wife loved it. Candles, complimentary mimosa, a view to die for, she was in heaven. We had a king room. It was smaller than i expected... more

Make your reservations early...for everything and you will have a grand time. Majority of staff was extrememly friendly. Food was good, rooms although small were adequate. Bring your energy if you stay on the third floor, the elevator (a treat for the kids) is one of the oldest in the state and has not "buttons" a staff meember must run... more

My husband and I just got back from a two night stay with our three children (ages 10, 7, 4). We had a very enjoyable stay. We stayed in a two bedroom suite which was very spacious for a family of five. The rooms were very clean. We had 3 french doors opening up to a deck that had amazing... more

Our family traveled with another family with young kids for the Columbus Day weekend. The place was beautiful. It has character and the kids loved that it had traditional things to do such as board games, air hockey, ping pong, movie theater, etc. They especially loved the pool which has a beautiful mural painted around it. Although our weather wasn't... more

stayed here 2 nights. We upgraded to a suite so we could have a view of the mountains from the front rooms. Everything was delightful. Staff was attentive, the food was great and the room comfortable, esp. the beds. Highly recommend the Mountain View if you are planning a stay in the area. more

Just returned from another visit to the MVG. This place is awesome. Breathtakingly beautiful. Absolutely immaculate. We have visited several times and each time, there are more improvements. Expanding the front deck, new king mattress that you practically need stairs to climb into, new patio furniture by the pool. Probably the most important improvement is the very recent (within the... more
