Oh man... the maze of dark corridors with roped-off sections, the dusty, mouldy smell... It felt like this place was not at its best, and it was stuck in a low budget 1980s movie. Check-in time is 4pm, and we arrived at 4:30pm to find it was closed. Our papers and the key were just left on the desk... The... More

My boyfriend and I decided to take a weekend get away to the mountains and stayed at the Snowy Owl Inn. We booked at room advertised with two queen sized beds, but when we arrived we were pretty sure the beds were not queen, but full size. We let that slide and just stayed in the room anyways. The property... More

This place was horrible. The place was old and musty. The air conditioner did not work. The beds were small and old. The room smelled of some sort of musty disguise. The TV was old and small. Bathroom was nasty and we couldn't wait to get out of there in the morning. Good place for young skiers or people with... More

The rooms are fairly nice. Ours had a in-bath hot tub, though we didn't use it. This place looks like a museum of 1970's decor....looks like a very dated little ski inn. We supposedly had a wedding discount, but it was a negligible discount, and we thought that the place was overpriced for what it is. The sun comes in... More

My Husband and I took our two nephews for the weekend to the mountains. The loft room provided more than enough space, allowed the boys private sleeping area, the breakfast was amazing, the indoor pool was perfect (stop sign shaped 4ft around the perimeter and 5ft at the center). Finally the price was perfect, much less than I would have... More

This is an average, basic hotel. It is not fancy, but rather a rustic New England ski lodge. I find the lobby to be charming and cozy. I go to Waterville Valley to walk, hike and spend time outdoors. This hotel is perfect for that life style. It is comfortable enough and the staff are friendly. The rooms may be... More

We travel once a year to Waterville Valley and always check the Snowy Owl website first. By booking in advance and paying up front you can get some really great rates. The hotel rooms are comfortable but basic. As other reviewers have mentioned the TV's are old, the towels are a bit scratchy and the continental breakfast is minimal. But... More

We stayed in kitchenette suite, Check-in and check-out is easy, free wi-fi, conveniently located next to town square that is the only advantage. You carry your own vacuum cleaner, brushes to clean sink because they don't clean or vacuum, if u leave anything in kitchen sink other hotels house cleaning will clean everything, these guys forget kitchen didn't even clean... We have stayed at the Snowy Owl Inn many times and are always very pleased. This time we upgraded to a room with a king size bed and it was very comfortable, It is not luxury but that's not what we are looking for. We were only there for one night and the room worked fine. The surprise was the... More

We stayed here for a conference that was held in the same building. The rooms were comfortable, while small. I had a hard time finding coffee in the morning which was distressing but the cook in the kitchen gave me some. The conference was held downstairs and to be honest I felt it was really tight quarters. The noise in... More
