We had a wonderful time vacationing with two active young boys who loved the opportunity to explore a real working farm. They were so excited to see all the animals and to wonder the fields enjoying the beautiful rural setting. we stayed in one of the self-contained cottages, and the accommodations were clean, comfortable and charming with plenty of room... We stayed three nights in this wonderful place with our two small children. A really beautiful setting and a great way to do "food tourism" in a children-friendly way. Outstanding breakfeast and the owners were very friendly. We can highly recommend it.

Inn Keeper Jackie is a most sincere, warm and gracious hostess fully dedicated to providing luscious dining, superior accommodations and most importantly, a truly relaxing atmosphere. In addition, she is completely willing to educate along a wide range of topics (e.g. farming, history, culture) should you show interest. We will remember our two-day winter stay with great fondness and will... More

Gorgeous farm setting, great service and hosting, and a delicious experience at every turn. I booked it because of the three course breakfast, and I certainly walked away full; the popovers were absurdly good (and came with a great story), the jam was home made, the eggs laid by chickens who then rushed to meet us when we walked the... What a wonderful experience! I was in town visiting an old friend, and needed some time alone to process and wind down, This was the perfect place to do it. Jackie couldn't have been more accommodating, and her breakfasts were just stellar. I'll never see a pomegranate again without remembering her lovely fruit salads, and she went out of her... More

Our hostess truly was the hostess with the mostest ! Loaded with great recommendations, enthusiastic about her farm, a great cook and accomplished conversationlist ! We learned so much about her organic methods of farming ( we weren't really that interested until we tasted how fresh the food was, and then we were inspired !). It is great fun after... More

First of all this was a free stay for veterans.and that alone is more than wonderful. However when you think it can't get any better it does. The room was charming, comfortable and so relaxing. The food very good. The surrounding area is enjoyable for pleasant walks in a country setting with plenty of other attraction near by. But the... More

Stayed only one night, early November, and every single aspect was first-rate. From the proprietor's gracious friendliness, to the quaint-but-everything-works room, to the astonishingly excellent breakfast, the two of us were completely impressed. We'll be back.

We spent one beautiful, fall day and night here. Our host, Jackie, was great -- she was friendly and welcoming, but not at all intrusive, and she made us an amazing, decadent breakfast. We had a really interesting discussion with her about her focus on organic farming and about the surrounding community. The property is beautiful! We took a 45... More

This was our first nights stay on a whirlwind trip of New England in the Fall. It was a great choice and from the first the owner had urged us to stay more than one night. Now we know why. The area is really beautiful and unspoilt with commercialism. There is lots to see in the area. Rustic and rural... More
