Centrally located between Littleton, Crawford Notch, and North Conway, this reasonably priced room was immaculate. Our room had two very comfortable double beds and was large and roomy with plenty of room for wet and drying clothing from skiing. A continental breakfast is included, but the coffee was weak. The mini blueberry corn muffins were outstanding, however. Would definitely stay... More

Friendly hosts and a clean facility. Out of the way but happened to be on our way for our trip. Game room downstairs is dated as was the lounge area. Very Northern Exposure'ish. We even enjoyed the pool. It wasn't near food, but a short drive wasn't that bad. Probably the most important aspect was the family suite. I would... More

Stayed here with my wife July 4th weekend. Great rates, family owned and close to Bretton Woods, Mt Washington Hotel, Crawford Notch, Cog Railway, etc. Great location and nice room for our weekend stay. We will stay here again.

We enjoyed staying in this authentic lodge accommodation close to Bretton Woods. Warm cozy main room with a roaring wood stove and comfortable chairs. Large game room with both pool and ping pong tables. Friendly staff and clean quiet rooms.

This little hotel may be the closest you will get to your mind's ideal of a stay at a Vermont / New Hampshire inn. There is a very nice common area and each room is well kept. The rates here are very reasonable compared to many not as close to major attractions (about 10 miles to the cog railway). This... More

Carol was the best and you can tell she really cares about her property and guest comfort. Our corner room was spacious and very clean. The lodge offers games to be played outside on their lawn and a pool table downstairs, which my 13 year old son couldn't get enough of.

Based on other reviews my husband and I decided to stay here for 4 days during the peak fall season. Although first impressions left me a little leary, even with a slight "creep factor", our overall stay was a big success. The lobby was a bit dated and musty, but when Carol showed us to our room we were nothing... More

We stay here often, because you can always count on friendly folks, a clean, neat room with as many amenities as one could ask for and wonderful surrounds. What we really like is that you always get what you expect, and what we expect is what we get, plus a little more. We love it here as well as the... More

This lodge is a very quiet, restful and relaxing way to get away from it all and enjoy some beautiful scenery. It is exactly as described- a lodge setting. Our room was very spacious and very clean-set up quite well .The bathroom was newly renovated and up-dated, and also set up well The owner goes out of her way to... More

What a find! My husband and I have just stayed at Carlson Lodge during our recent visit to the White Mountains, and we weren't disappointed. The lodge was a welcome change from the chain hotels we have stayed in throughout our visit to New England. It's very traditional and this is what makes it such a special place. I felt... More
