My husband and I come here anytime we visit the White Mountains. On this most recent visit the daughter of the owners, now both deceased, was sitting on the porch waiting for us and the other guests to arrive. Once inside, she asked when the last time we had visited and updated us on what has changed since. Our room... More

We selected this motor lodge based on location, price and TripAdvisor reviews. We were not disappointed. The rooms show continual refurbishment. The beds were comfortable. I could open the window for fresh air. The grounds show TLC with beautiful plantings. Carol was helpful with our questions about dining and orienting ourselves within the White Mountains. Not fancy but perfect for... More

My trip to New Hampshire was for business and pleasure. I was shocked at the absurdly high room rates at the Omni Mt. Washington- probably my favorite hotel in the world! With rates in excess of $300- they seem to think they are located on the upper West Side of Manhattan! I looked for other accommodation and with the help... More

We stayed here because of it's proximity to the Mount Washington Cog Railway. The accomodations were roomy, but with an upstairs room at one end of the motel, the in-room WiFi did not have enough strength to use. The breakfast selection was minimal. There was also no elevator, so we had to drag rather heavy suitcases up the staircase. The... More

Carlson's Lodge is a great place to stay. The accomodations are very comfortable and clean. The owner, Carol, was nice and pleasant and made us feel welcomed. The coffee was excellent! I would definitely stay at Carlson's Lodge again and I highly recommend staying there

We stay here whenever we come to the North Country for skiing, touring or just hanging out with family and/or friends. The rooms are large, well appointed and perfect for any stay for any reason. Carol and her great family always make us feel welcome and appreciated and as great fans of the area we aways come back here. Sometimes... More

We had looked at this on line and decided it was more of a summer place then we ended up here after not finding anything by Bretton Woods on a Sunday night after skiing. The owner showed us two very nice rooms which were perfect. We chose one with 2 queens. It was roomy, spotless, had a very decent well-appointed... More

If you are looking for a homey, cozy, family oriented spot for a budget ski trip then this is the spot. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very well kept. The complimentary breakfast includes something for everyone. The free wi-fi lets you plug in anywhere. Enjoy the upper balcony over the lobby for a wonderful spot to read or play... More

Centrally located between Littleton, Crawford Notch, and North Conway, this reasonably priced room was immaculate. Our room had two very comfortable double beds and was large and roomy with plenty of room for wet and drying clothing from skiing. A continental breakfast is included, but the coffee was weak. The mini blueberry corn muffins were outstanding, however. Would definitely stay... More

Friendly hosts and a clean facility. Out of the way but happened to be on our way for our trip. Game room downstairs is dated as was the lounge area. Very Northern Exposure'ish. We even enjoyed the pool. It wasn't near food, but a short drive wasn't that bad. Probably the most important aspect was the family suite. I would... More
