The Johnson Cabins are located in the White Mountains and just a short drive to many of the area attractions. Dogs are allowed in the cabins and there are trails to walk right on the property. I chose them because they are dog friendly and I was planning on hiking with my dog. The owners are very warm and accomodating.... More

From the outside Johnson's may not look like much but it is clean. The owners are super helpful and know the area well. Unfortunately, my cottage wasn't air conditioned. I don't if the others were air conditioned or not.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Ashley cottage with our dog. It was clean and cozy and the owners are so friendly! They even made our dog a scarf! It was in a great location. 20 minutes or less from main attractions, Littleton, Lincoln, and Crawford notch. We did a few waterfall hikes and pemi moose tours out of... More

I am a huge fan of locally family owned motels(so there is my bias) so this place is no different. The motel was in a perfect location and the owners were extremely helpful in giving directions and pointing out good places to catch a meal. The motel rooms felt like we were in a log cabin with really nice upkeep... More

Super friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in the motel part. Room was small, but adequate. Trail behind motel was good way to walk dog. Easy access to main roads. Would like to try a cottage there. Service was exceptional. Ability to take do g on vacation, very dog friendly motel.

Near to great hiking trails, food, amenities. Paul and Colleen were very nice and very welcoming. The bed was very comfortable, the room was great. I loved the view of the mountains and sky from my room. I walked the dog twice a day on their beautiful trails behind the motel. People in the area are very friendly. A great... More

For skiing the location couldn't be better, 12 mins to bretton woods or cannon. 18 min to Littleton for supplies and food. Had cabin 3. It smelled just like grandma's cottage when we arrived. Hot water in shower is touchy either too hot or too cold, so I wouldn't recommend it for really young kids. Heat worked really well, cabin... More

Paul and Colleen were very welcoming and accomedating. We had a wonderful stay at the house and so did our dog. The House had everything needed to cook a Thanksgiving dinner, minus the food, but we were in Brettonwoods for a wedding. Old fashion charm and very clean. We were there in July and it was quite humid an air... More

We always enjoy staying here for our skiing weekends. It is great to have a full kitchen so we don't have to go anywhere if we don't want to.
