Just there 3rd week August, 09. Seven of us - (4 adults 3 young children). We arrived early and owners said go into cabin early. Cabins/beds really clean. What an amazing way to wake up each morning - looking out over the calm lake with a family of 18 ducks gliding by as the sun comes up! It was awful. $200 per night - for nothing! could have stayed at a 4 star hotel with pool, bar, resturant and amenities. The cabins were great! Rustic with modern ammenities. Met a family of 27 that make the trip annually, so they were seasoned to the living without TV or telephone (which we found we didn't miss at all!!!!) We are a family of six (four hard to please teens). The Anchorage was recommended to me by my oldest son's doctor. They have been vacationing there for the past few years.
