Beautiful, well-maintained, older inn situated conveniently to lakes, mountains, outlets. Scenic 2.5 hour round trip walk from Tilton to Franklin. Each room is decorated differently with period furniture. Some rooms are quite large with separate seating area. Very good pub/restaurant on premises.

I spent two nights here and was more than happy with my choice. The older part of town has remarkable character not found just a mile away in franchise row. To sit in the sun on the balcony, sipping fresh coffee watching the small town wake up is a great start to the day. The restaurant as a reputation for... More

Stayed 2 nights, 5/23 & 5/24. Allen, new owner, is doing a lot of work on the place, updating the floors, entrance way and balconies - it looks great. We hope to go back again and enjoy the 2nd story balcony. The staff was really helpful and had great tips on places to visit, especially Marge, who offered great information... More

The Tilton Inn was recommended by friends and was such a lovely surprise. The Owners are welcoming and friendly, as well as the staff and can't do enough for you. Located in New Hampshire, the Tilton Inn Restaurant, Onions is popular and I will definitely be returning.

We had a delightful family Christmas holiday: warm hospitality by owners and staff; charming décor in rooms, delicious food. We were 16 in number, from ages 9 months to 75 years, and if the inn's ghost Laura joined us, she fit in so perfectly, we scarcely noticed her!

We had 17 relatives get together for Christmas and stay at the Inn for a week. The owners and staff were very friendly and accomodating. The restaurant was top notch and the bar was very generous on drinks. While it lacks a laundry facility there is one across the street as well as a few other shops and restaurants. The... More

Although my husband and I were in Tilton just for the day, we did stop for lunch at the Tilton Inn. The food was very good, the bloody Mary's superb. The ambiance was cozy and warm and the innkeepers very friendly and welcoming. I was fortunate to be given a tour of the rooms, which were all decorated very beautifully,... More

This charming Inn has got to be the best kept secret in all of New England. It's stunning presence in the heart of Tilton, a landmark, standing majestically over Main Street. Each room is perfectly maintained with charming detail. Carol and her housekeeping staff are ready, willing and able to provide anything needed with such a warm and welcoming smile.... More
