The Tilton Inn is very lovely. The Staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and decorated nicely . Please keep in mind this is a HISTORIC INN so the rooms and bathrooms are on the Smaller side but very accommodating and comfortable. We stayed in the Lawrence room which is farther in the back so we didn't really... More

Nice old New England Inn. For the price, cheaper with more character than chain hotels. Clean and comfortable and would stay there again. Rooms were very comfortable and has an on site restaurant, Onions. Food was good, but pricey. Had a salad with shrimp. Came with only 4 SMALL shrimp, and cost me almost $15.00 for rabbit food. WiFi is... More

Rooms recently refurb end to a good standard. Parking limited but improving soon. Nice little bar/restaurant and helpful friendly staff. Not a lot in Tilton itself but plenty to do within a short drive. Wifi in public areas, weak in rooms.

We stayed one night at the Tilton Inn with our dog. Checking in went quickly once we found the right woman to check in with. She was very welcoming of our dog and even offered to supply us with a dog bed or dishes if we needed them although we did not. Our room was charming, clean and comfortable with... More

Henry Ford room. Room was very quaint and had a very historic feel. Very clean and neat and we saw a few of the other rooms and they seemed very nice as well. Problem is that once you get settled in you realize the issues. No control over the temperature of the room and it got too warm for our... More

We traveled for an overnight on the Northern Rail Trail via bicycle. They let us store our stuff so we did not have to carry our overnight luggage for the trip. Same in reverse as we had to travel back past the Inn on the way home. The second floor balcony was great for drinks and sitting and enjoying the... More

The room was small and $98/night (and mostly empty, it was not season) plus tax. While charming and comfortable, the check in was rather disorganized. I had called first and then when we arrived minutes later, had to walk around in the downstairs bar/restaurant to find the very nice lady who checked us in. The small office is hectic &... More

A wonderful long weekend stay at the Tilton Inn:) From start to finish this was an amazing experience. The Inn keeper Allen was so helpful from the first phone call until check out. He made sure everything was more than perfect for our block of 10 rooms stay. The rooms were modern, well furnished, clean and very comfortable. We ate... More

The restored 1875 inn is conveniently located in the town center along Main Street, only minutes from the Interstate. Charming bright rooms, each with their own bathroom. Much homier than the chain motels and a reasonable price, at least for off-season December. There is a restaurant on the main floor, which I did not try. An inexpensive diner, Pauli's, a... More

Beautiful, well-maintained, older inn situated conveniently to lakes, mountains, outlets. Scenic 2.5 hour round trip walk from Tilton to Franklin. Each room is decorated differently with period furniture. Some rooms are quite large with separate seating area. Very good pub/restaurant on premises.
