This property which was always a great place to stay is now closed. Good luck Deb and Kurt. Had a good experience with you and sorry to see you closed hope you are successful in your future projects in the future .

We stayed here as a stop on the Granite State Vacations Inn to Inn Bike Tour. Loved the homey set up of the rooms and common areas. The specially prepared meals were fabulous and we enjoyed the company of the Innkeppers who were very helpful in preparing for the bike course of the day. Great place for families or couples... My wife and I traveled from PA to visit her sister nearby. The accommodations were very comforting after a days travel. The room was just as we had anticipated, warm and inviting. Breakfast was tasty, filling and just as one would expect at an Inn of this class. Thank you Curt and Deb for a great time away.

We visited the area to go hiking, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 3 nights. The inn is immaculate, tastefully decorated and very inviting. The breakfasts were excellent: fresh fruit (including homegrown blackberries), homemade bread and a main course. The innkeepers were welcoming, accommodating, and helpful in planning our stay. We've been back numerous times--wouldn't go anywhere else! Kurt's a great cook and Deb is just a peach! Lots to do in the area--Mount Sunapee, farmers' market in Newport Center and shopping in New London, boating at lake Sunapee. Relaxing yet central.

My boyfriend and I decided to go away for President's Day weekend to New Hampshire. We choose Mt. Sunapee as the boarding/skiing destination and after much searching decided on Blue Acorn Inn. Lets start with the exterior. The property is breathtaking. Even in less-than-peak fall foliage, you can sit there on the provided lounge chairs for hours, watching the clouds go by, watching the horses gallop in the meadow, and watch their two dogs play in the yard.
